Dave finally gets his hands (briefly) on a rare Boer Krag-Jørgenson rifle. The rifle is in mint condition and belongs to a generous friend who let Dave have a good look at this superb piece of engineering and craftsmanship. There is a fair amount of evidence that it was captured from Cronje's laager by a trooper from the 1st NSW Mounted Rifles, but there the provenance trail runs cold. Regardless of origins, it is a very special example of this very rare Boer weapon.
Editors Note: This got a little chopped up as new information came to hand and we had to re-shoot a small segment.
