40 years ago, my friend found a dead body right where you were fishing… 😂😂😂 tons of homeless around the mouth if the canyon by the eccles park.

The Ogden has a blue ribbon portion with some nice features. My biggest on the Ogden was a 20” brown. I’ve seen a guy on a Tenkara get a 29” brown. There’s tons of fish in there and I think the Ogden deserves a bit higher. At least low 30’s. Awesome video!

@@mikez9799 thanks for the comment! That’s a fair critique, and a 29” brown is totally wild. Love the Ogden.

Just found your channel. Great stuff. I'm an in-between beginner/novice fly rodder guy. (Still working on the terminology) I hit the provo last weekend for the first time. Got skunked for 4 hours. I've mostly just stuck to big cottonwood. So I'm looking to take on some more challenges, which your channel will assist me in doing that. Thank you! Cheers to lunkers 🎣

Awesome! The Provo can be very tough. Keep it up, fly fishing success takes some time.

I grew up in ogden fishing the Ogden, so maybe I'm biased but I think it deserves a little more respect put on Its name 😂 but it was cool knowing exactly what spots you were hitting. I think earlier in the year anywhere below Monroe is killer but once it starts getting warmer I do pretty good up around and past the botanical gardens

Local here been watching your KZitem channel for about 2 weeks now. Love your content and love the fact it's my own Rivers as well. You put a lot of time into this the quality shows. Do you mind doing one in the North Fork? And maybe one at the blacksmith up in Oakley *begins of weber? Thanks again!

Thanks for the kind words! I do plan on hitting the north fork eventually. I would also love to hit up the headwaters of the Weber.
