I then called Razer and had it sent out to be repaired. In the time that I used it though, I loved it. Great with fighterz. Great with fallen order. Love the reviews man your'e funny as shit. Just one thing. I went from a TE to the Ultimate and I gotta say the differences are small but important at least in my experience. Firstly The back buttons are better and more accessible in my opinion (I did get used to the TE ones but it took a while). This had a flow on effect as I felt the positioning of the TE back buttons meant I had to hold it in a specific way and this at least for me made it difficult to make use of the M1 and M2 buttons on top of the controller. I noticed almost immediately that with the layout of the buttons I was now able to use those buttons without even thinking about it. Just my two cents but I think useful for anyone looking to "upgrade".

I play mainly FPS games on PC and have owned the Razer Wolverine Ultimate, Razer Wolverine Tournament Edition, Power A Fusion Pro, and Power A Pro Fusion 2. Which one is best? In my opinion, none of these are as good as a controller that lots of folks have never heard of- the Flydigi Apex Series 2. This thing is marketed for mobile gaming but if you're on PC, hear me out. This thing is a beast. While both Power A Fusion controllers have four extra paddles, and the TE has 4 extra buttons and the Ultimate has 6, the Flydigi Apex 2 has eight. The layout is similar to that of the Razer Wolverines in that you have your triggers, bumpers, and two extra buttons placed in between RB,RT as well as LB, LT. The four back buttons are a lot more ergonomic than the Ultimate, TE, and you don't have to deal with flimsy paddles that get loose like those on the Power A Fusions. The controller can be played wireless through a USB dongle or via bluetooth but you can still be a tryhard if you're worried about latency and use the 10 foot USB type C cable for a wired connection. It also has customizeable RBG if you care about that. This controller includes two extra buttons that I have never seen anyone else have underneath the A and B button- a C and Z button. Also, theres a draggable wheel feature for the BXY buttons (I never use it) but it's there if anyone would care to use it. Finding the software for the controller was annoying but once I did, I loved all the different mapping features (4 custom profiles can be saved). vCuda, I highly recommend you take a look at the controller, not at all for mobile gaming use but for PC. This controller is a beast.

Just got my TE. The buttons on the back dont feel as smooth to hit as an elites paddles. Also something about the low wide thumbsticks feels funny, has me trying to adjust and re figure my sensitivities. It could just be I need more time for my muscle memory and hands to adapt. Have had it since last Thursday and I even played a 4 hour zombie sesh to lab out the controller. Just my 2 cents. The extra buttons on top are extremely fire tho.

I've had both of those controllers for about a year and a half I think. I said this in another one is your videos, but I prefer the ULT for 3D fighters and the TE for FPS and games where aiming is important. I agree with you on the D-Pad for the ULT. I thought it was cool that you could swap the D-Pad out, but ended up liking the D-Pad that comes installed out of the box. But that can kinda make your thumb hurt when things gets intense until you get used to it (kinda like how guitarists have to get used to guitar strings).

Conclusion: Buy the TE if your a casual gamer with the pro that its likely to last longer than everything else. Ok would you recommend the tournament to someone new to these types of coffee controllers? I'm looking to upgrade from a stock Xbox 1 But not looking for a cheap piece of shit

It's the wolverine te for me, my stock Xbox controller started to get stick drift after 3 months and my ps4 controller still going strong after 5 years.

This video is a huge help! Thank you for going in-depth! I think the Ultimate's wispy-light-to-press would drive me insane, because I'd likely always feel as if they're broken and sunken in (which, my other fear with that, is that that design might CAUSE that to happen over time, but we'll see on the 1 year review video!). Since the TE seems more durable and/or might have more longevity, I think I might go with that, if I'm able to. Both of these controllers are really similarly priced right now, so I wasn't sure which to get if I can, and this helped a ton! (V2 Chroma is out of my price range right now). Thanks again!

They've had inconsistent stock for a while now. It'll pop back up again sometime. Amazon would be the best place to keep an eye on

returned the Ultimate, the paddles on the back are in a pretty bad place, in no circumstance do I want to adjust my grip on my aiming hand to hit a paddle, might spring for the TE even though its much more expensive than the Ultimate in 2022.

Just ordered an ultimate today idk how I feel with the paddle placement especially since I've been using a elite series for over 3 years

Would you say that the TE paddles are better in terms of placement?

I'm on my 2nd Wolvrrine TE in a year and half. But with 6 months of use of my 1st, it suddenly got "a faulty motherboard issue and couldn't be repaired due lack of replacement parts" or so said Razer to me. They refunded me because they also can't replace it here o Brazil since it's not officially sold here. Got my money back and used it to buy another sealed from a website some months later. I'm reaching the 6 months mark again on this newer one and I fear each time I use it because it may suddenly stop working without any reason given.
