Hello! I have input effects on my Mic and guitar. Why are these input effects not going thorugh the track?

Are they being applied to your mic when playing live but not being recorded to the track?

@pog pogger if you go into your settings for each track, is 'FX' switched on? You'll find this by pressing 'LOOP' then select which track you want to record to and make sure the FX is definitely on. Let me know how you get on.

@@RossGallagherMusic Ross isn't this switch for applying Track effects after it's been recorded? For some reason with this switch on my effects still doesn't record to the track. Love your videos. Thanks

Ross, can you explain how you setup your equipment? Is you amp before are after the Boss 600? Are you using the EQ's in the Boss 600 or those on the amp? Are you using something else to eq your mic? I'm struggling on setting up the eq's and effects for both the mic and instruments. Thanks for any help you can give

I run my guitar into the amp, then use the FX loop in the amp to run into Instrument 1 on the RC-600, then Sub Out 1L on the RC-600 back into the FX Loop on the amp. My guitar EQ and tones are all generated by the amp, and I use FX for vocals and some guitar 2 bass within the RC-600. When applying your FX to your mic and instruments, do you know how to route these correctly? And are you aware you can only use one bank of FX at any one time? Cheers, Ross

Hey Ross! been loving all of your videos, thanks so much! You said around 9.10 that there may be FX issues if outputs haven't been routed correctly. Did you make a video about this already? -- when I turn my input FX on, I don't hear them when playing live but once I record to a track they come through. I have the insert set to all and the FX turned on on each track. Any help with this would be hugely appreciated! I've not been able to find anything on how to solve this issue. Cheers!!!

Great question. There is an issue with FX being applied when you have the insert set to all, but are using different outputs for your instruments. Does this sound like your issue? If so, you might need to manually set which inputs you want the FX applied to, which will use more of your FX I'm afraid.

@@RossGallagherMusic ah legendary! Thank you so much for the reply -- can't believe I didn't try switching the all to just the input I needed - only need effects on one of the instruments I have going in anyway. Really appreciate the help, been racking my brain trying to figure this out for a while now! Definitely gonna buy you a coffee, and huge thanks for all of your videos on the RC 600!

You could change the 4 knobs on the panel to control loop volumes if that works for you? If you check this video out, that should hopefully help you... kzitem.info/news/bejne/xZWkk3lnnJ53eqQ
