The parallel gets darker. Each year there are about 70 shark on human attacks each year. Mostly mistaken prey scenarios. Each year about 100 _million_ sharks are commercially killed and that number more than doubles when you add in accidental deaths due to capture in nets, pollution etc. Do trans people ever do bad things to cis people? Sure. Some people are disturbed, but the other way around is orders of magnitude more common and ranges from direct and specific acts of violence to "accidental" alienation and oppression. Trans people really are the sharks. Statistically no threat to cis people and yet the target of hate and unconcern. Long live Blåhaj!

As a trans man, Trans tape is great but should be used if you can’t have the straps of your binder showing or for swimming, it comes with instructions and the starter kit should have a balm to help take it off plus if you hold a wet rag on it for a while the end will start peeling and you can take it off like a bandaid, ALWAYS REMEMBER TO PUT TISSUE OVER YOUR NIPPLE

She also has called herself a prince multiple times (major w). And as for the Invader Zim character Gir is cute. Most comments by Gir or, how it acts could be indicated as a Transgender icon. Please have a wonderful day girl! ☺️ Oh! @@Vero2yu Wow TERF alert!! I am a Linguist and have a BS. I also have a diverse knowledge in Therapy. Their is a difference between Gender, Gender Expression, and Sex these have diverse functions and the individuals can either choose or change the Gender roles they play in society. That is a given fact. Genetics of XY and XX means nothing. Those who hold the old theory's are nothing more than bigots and it's worse for women who call themselves Feminist. You can't remove Trans women from women space because it shows that y'all don't give respect even if an individual is Female. Furthermore an individual who gives birth doesn't describe the only thing that's womenhood. Their are many individuals who are Female and can't give birth, but that doesn't mean they aren't full women. Womenhood means different things and it shows inclusivity. For those that fight against it hold toxic beliefs of misogyny and heteronormative values that are a laugh. Heteronormativity society was ONLY present and predominantly pushed for the past 100 years. 100 years before and we can see history shows a lot of LGBTQIA+ content. It is due to white supremacy and it's push that people have tried to change history and failed. We can see this in Anthropology of white, chair sitting shriveled frogs who steal works from real Anthropologists living within the different societies showing that LGBTQIA+ individuals are an internal part to society and have lots of respect for those who are (and don't push) Heteronormative norms. That's Science honey, And it proves that Transgender individuals are who they are. So, Trans women are women, Trans men are men, and Nonbinary are people. Furthermore theirs studies of CT scans and implications of happiness when Transgender individuals smell perfume of their affirming gender and images of their affirming gender. Their brain lights up from the euphoria and honey that... is... Science. plus, Intersex individuals are more in danger due to heteronormative pushed and their gender roles. 'blue shark'; colloquially anglicised as /ˈblɑːhɑːʒ/, /ˈblɑːhɑː/ or /ˈbloʊhaɪ/) is a plush toy manufactured and sold by the Swedish company IKEA. Modeled after a blue shark and made of recycled polyester, the toy has gained prominence on social media as a popular internet meme, especially in the transgender community,[1] and has also been used as a mascot by IKEA in some regions. A different site said also included: Going back to the archetype of the killer shark, sharks are often associated with violent masculinity. As a cute plush, Blahaj defies gender norms and thereby allows many trans people to experience and express gender on their own terms

I always feel like I can’t and shouldn’t confidently speak for trans people, but videos like this give me a very good perspective I lack. They help me feel better armed to speak out against bs misinformation or bigotry. Thank you.

With trans tape on the chest you can keep it on for a week, but it starts peeling off too much soon before that anyway. It's advised to wait at least a day before putting new tape tho, and if you got a rash you have to wait until it heals You can do cardio in it tho, which you can't in a binder because it restrict breathing. For bigger chested people, combining tape and a binder makes you so much flatter, and is just as safe as just the binder (in my experience I felt less constricted actually)

The shark is Blåhaj (blow-hai) from ikea! There are many possible reasons but the way I think about it is like this: humans being social creatures require talking but since some trans people (especially closeted trans people) can find it hard to relate to others, most go to plushies since they are good at cuddling too! Ikea being the lgbtq+ ally they are seemed like a good place to get plushies from (since they sold them) and the reason for the shark I believe is because just like trans people, sharks are over hated by people. We hear story’s about them killing people but it’s just near as bad as portrayed. Like how trans people are over hated in media to push an agenda.

Maybe a therapist, counsellor, should help you to get back to reality of accepting who you are which is the gender you were and are since the womb. Most better time spent instead of wasting your life on emulating the opposite, what you can never be, bcz really there is nothing wrong in being a male or a female. The only wrong is faking, mimic like some puppet, things.

Trans tape is a thing but people using tape to bind so often do it super wrong. Ive seen people literally wrap the tape around their chest like a bandage and its so scary. They make binders for a reason, there are safe ways to bind!!! Tape/bandages are not safe ways to bind. Trans tape has instructions to avoid that problem

It wasn't Invader Zim. It was Gir, a character from Invader Zim; Gir is Zim's adorable and dumb robot who is disguised as a dog. Zim just uses a wig and contact lenses to pretend to be a human child who for some reason has green skin. I don't know anything about it being a trans allegory, though. Never thought about it.

The shark is Blahaj. Its become a popular meme that trans people are associated with this toy shark. I think the original reason was because it had trans flag colors. Online, there are many memes like this which associate different LGBTQ+ identities with different things. Examples include lesbians and u-hauls, bisexuals and finger guns and asexuals and garlic bread. Idk why this is, but it happens.

Transgender Transformers are canon. Anode and her girlfriend, Lug, clearly state their trans status in the comic series Lost Light. (That comic and its predecessor series, More Than Meets the Eye, also establish that transformers are homonormative. In other words, their societal default is to assume transformers' romantic partners are bots of the same gender.)

Dear transfemmes: I am an afab demigirl. I RARELY feel like doing my makeup even when I am in my Girl Era(tm). You are still women! My roommate is a cis lady and she's the same way :) I have a coworker (won't list her name here) and she's a trans lady in her 60s. She wears no makeup, has had no surgeries, and no HRT. She's balding on top of it all. She used to wear more femme clothes and stuff her bras, but got tired of it. She said she likes how she looks and she shouldn't change her appearance just for other people. We meet at lunch for girltalk and she is absoLUTELY one of the ladies at our table. You all are gorgeous, lovely ladies. If you don't feel like doing makeup and hair, I promise you aren't any less of a woman for it ❤

Yeah, I started socially transitioning over a year ago, but in the past couple of months, I've gotten more comfortable with not wearing makeup. It started out as a laziness thing, and at first I apologized profusely, "I'm so sorry I didn't put on any makeup today." But they would say, "Oh, I didn't even notice", so then I got more comfortable with it. However, I still love dressing femme. I still stuff my bra for now, although HRT is starting to stuff it for me, hehe. I'm very dysphoric about my baldness, so I always wear hats, but eventually I'm planning on getting some hair restoration surgery.

I kind didn't come out because of media stars or or other trans women tbh. I came out because I was more socially closer with women and kept saying I wish I was born female it'd be easier for me and am uncomfortable (not hatred)) with men. The closet made me anxious and numb, and coming out made me confident and feel. However, my motivator atm was because of a Spanish trams girl my friends wants me to meet. She's so beautiful. I want to look like her and my friend's think I can eventually. She looks so good and when I said I want to look like her to my Cis friend she said I think anyone would want to look like her. This made me think hey I want nice hair eventually so I looked up old hairstyles from the 80s. Loved the feathered bangs with layers look. Now I have to make my hair thicker. Seen there is something called Strands for Trans also that shows a listing of hair dressers that support trans hair cuts all over the place from the US to Canada and even some of Europe. Noticed even some gothic/ punk hair dressers where I am which to me end p generically giving some of the best hairdressers who also have the talent for their own hair I couldn't''t trust a bad hair dresser too cut my hair off. My hair is kind of a pride for me and losing it a depression. Atm, I'm still in my pink phase, but eventually, I'll try for other styles. I've lots of interests from Lolita to 80s goth to cyber goth to regular everyday clothes or inspiration from people like Shakira or thee lead singer of Wagaki btw their bass dresses feminine also but isn''t. I thought ii was interesting learning just that's a fashion in Japan just for pure random facts. lol. Fashion really is fun and I am happy to show I'm a girl now and dream big to be closer to eventually being what I want to look like and who I feel like. LoL

Their were three moments in this video that really made me think and want to comment 1. When you talked about what it means to support someone. I've had a really bad drown out toxic break up with a trans man (he, him, ze, hir) (I'm gender fluid myself) and even in the worst moments where we had both hurt each other and I was on the edge of crying myself to sleep I still felt a need to correct anyone who misgendered hir. Regardless of how I felt about him as a person ze is definitely a man. 2. When you mentioned your therapist asking you what you like about yourself and it made realized I didn't have a single answer for myself besides my hair and eyes and that hurt. 3. I don't remember exactly when but I thought about how sometimes I want to start estrogen but I also want to have a natural family someday plus being gender fluid sometimes I actually enjoy being masculine and I don't know if estrogen could even fully remove my dysphoria
