(Still don't) But, I still have a lot of that stuff even 4 years later. It's hard to part with because that was the first time I knew I was genuinely accepted. It’s rly funny bc it actually was my feminist journey against my own internalised misogyny that made me discover I’m a trans man lmao. All my life I was “not like other girls” and hated everything femme and pink and sparkly and stuff. And then feminism taught me about internalised misogyny so I was like huh that’s kind of me. So I went full femme, embraced “girly” things; long hair, long nails, dresses, skirts. I became a girl’s girl, learned to love my femme side, all of it. But I still really felt at odds with my body and the dysphoria never stopped. So at that point I saw that my issue clearly wasn’t interlaced misogyny, it’s just that I’m a guy. A very gay, very soft and very femme guy. But a guy nonetheless lmao.

You finally made me google this thing. So, the bread in the meme, as well as the bread in BreadTube, are a reference to Kropotkin's book "The Conquest of Bread" (La conquète du pain, he wrote it in French). The "bread book". I might even read it (not in French).. right after I finish Bakunin and Marx. I'm way behind on my lefty historical stuff. *Sigh*

@@arbitarious uhm, no. socialism is socialism. socialism isnt even standard communism. anarcho-communism is anarchist communism. its still communist but it leans more on individuals deciding what and to do for themselves, rather than having an all encompassing government that does it. its a lot of philosophy and theory that i dont have the knowledge to help you understand without knowing a lot more communication between us, especially here in the KZitem comment section lmaoo if youre legitimately interested, then just google "peter kropotkin anarcho-communism theory & philosophy" and you will find plenty of information about it.

The point is about trans men is , that little girls hate themselves when they get puberty because it's painful but also confusing. You get boobs, you get pain, you get more hair specially in the head , you get headaches, you get mood swings. So of course any girl will hate her body at that point. And that's where the doctors start chopping. Back in the days moms uesd to he the ones who comfort daughters in these times. Nowadays they either have two AIDS infested dads who know nothing about girls puberty. Or they say she hates her body then she a boy in a girl body. So let's call the butchers pretending to be doctors who get thousands of dollars to do stuff that we only see in horror movies .

I don’t remember if the dm about “trans person made my kid sick grrr” is the exact thread I’m thinking of, but in either this thread or a similar one, the trans person being dmed is so patient with the parent and listens to their concerns and gives them resources and by the end the parent is GRATEFUL for the information and gets their kid a binder It’s not trans people’s job to explain things, but a little patience and empathy can really go a long way 🥹

(Reading comments) … (slowly starts to raise hand) I think I know what kind of bug that was, i-if you’re, like, curious at all… I like bugs. I think it’s a kind of Assassin Bug. Their bites aren’t deadly, I think, but they do cause the effected area to become necrotized (soupy) and drain it. Usually they do that to smaller things, not big stuff like people. EDIT: I forgot to mention that Assassin Bugs and Stink Bugs are indeed very closely related. Similar face shapes, leg shapes, and the fact that the assassins I’ve met before smelled like ass.

I don't get why the right has a problem with disability representation. Like, their big argument is that being trans is a choice, but no one chooses to become paralyzed or be born autistic (like I am-solely the autism I’m not trying to pretend to be paralyzed). And the disability representation in the media sucks, let us disabled folk have something that finally speaks to us. PS I am not trying to say that I myself think that being transgender is a choice, and if it comes across that I am saying it that way then I sincerely apologize, I see all of you and I stand with all of you

Even now I'm not much of a cook, my room is a mess, all my clothes are mens or neutral, I don't do makeup, my room is done in shades of grey and brown, and when the bug came on the screen I said "OMG, he's cute!". 4:54 ahhh being totally optimistic, maybe the manhood book to the trans girl/woman wasnt meant to say "youre a man, and heres a book to help you be manly by learning man stuff," and maybe its to say "this man stuff is important for both men AND ladies to know, and since youre a lady, we wanna make sure you can do this stuff without relying on some man!" probably not, and that still wouldnt be the best, but i mean we can all hope & hope & hope 😐🫠
