softrin can you talk about sasaengs or ‘stalker fans’ i’d like to hear your thoughts on it and what you think their motives are. My opinion on them: obviously i think what they’re doing is disgusting and gross but I personally believe these people are mentally ill or have some sort of mental health issues. They need to go seek medical help as their obsession with idols is truly disturbing and life damaging for both the idols and themselves.( i just simplified my entire opinion or we’d be here all day lmao) Also I feel like certain companies dont put enough effort to stop these things occuring, like it may be difficult but they need to prioritise their idols’ safety. Idk if you’ve heard but there is this crazy sasaeng on twitter that’s obsessed with chenle and she has done weird 💩 to try to get his attention. I recommend watching kpopjunkee’s video for more info but im genuinely so worried for him 😭😖😔

I didn’t know Jeno got backlash for that. Like Jeno is a baby to me as an older fan so I don’t see him in a certain way. But I’m aware that he’s an adult at this point so he’s allowed to be sexy if he wants. And I wish there was more NCT U content. I wish they would experiment more and have different combos of members.

For the cute concept thing, I feel like maybe as the groups get older they don't feel as comfortable anymore doing that kind of light hearted concepts and they're less profitable compared to the more edgy stuff (althought might I say that seventeen nailed it with left and right delivering a bop, with their early signature style while 'aging' it with them)
@d5891
4 жыл бұрын
Simon Joanna agreed! if you like prefer their old music over their new ones, then listen to it, its that easy. no need to force BTS to bring back their old concepts, cmon like look at black swan and ON the meanings are 1838289292919x chefs kiss. like u said, i also cant rlly imagine them doing NO or No more dream ://
@Faboostic
4 жыл бұрын
@Simon Joanna but it's not really about the fact that the artist style changed (like i feel happened with bts) but because of the public liking it more now and the company wanting to sell it more, so even younger groups with members who are basically kids are doing edgy songs who are kinda sexy, you rarelly have a cute anymore and feels like the groups are just changing to follow the trend wich is kinda annoying because they don't feel original because the member are not really involved. for exemple a group that i follow that the members for years said wanted to change concepts was twice, they always talked about how they wanted to try different types of concepts but jyp never allowed them because the edgy concept wasn't that popular back them. anyway hope i wasn't rude or anything i just like talking about this.
@johndinh1889

I will say that I disagree a little cause if you look at Oh My Girl, they are a 5 year idol group with there most recent comeback being one of their most successful with the cute concept. I honestly think that the cute concept is very overlooked and underestimated a lot of the time but honestly it’s a difficult concept to pull off. I will say that I think the more mainstream concepts right now tend to be girl crush or edgy dark concepts. Honestly at this point I find those concepts to be so overdone and repetitive but these are concepts that I say are more easily digestible internationally and therefore prioritized.

Gods menu is just a masterpiece imo Also the whole streaming thing, like you mentioned, is truly getting out of hand. Not everyone has the time in the day to be watching the same thing over and over again especially with streaming rules. Adding onto this, its absurd how people call other fans ‘fake fans’ just because they dont watch every content their faves put out. For example BTS has SO much content like bon voyage and BTS run, nct has nct daily, stray kids has skz player and finding stray kids. Not to mention these groups have loads of interviews and variety show appearances which is too much... This leads to my next point which is some groups put waaay to much content out its too difficult to catch up, especially for new fans. Like i mentioned nct has their yt channel where the upload smth new EVERY day. Im grateful for it but at this point i legit dont watch any content groups put out. Apart from anything im looking forward to like the dreamies upcoming NCT life series

The other day I was in a comment section for God’s Menu, and someone literally said that they couldn’t sleep and hadn’t eaten cause they were worried about the views not going up. People literally ignore their health in order to stream and it’s such an unhealthy mindset. And the comments were full of people calling KZitem racist for freezing views. How are they meant to know the difference between people and bots when there are whole fandoms streaming one video on 5 different devices for multiple weeks? Streaming is bot behaviour and people need to chill out cause views =/= talent

SMALL RANT Kpop idols, their companies, stylist, makeup artist, etc need to have some type of lessons on cultural appropriation, and some type of history lesson of the African/black, native Americans, colorism, on religions, the list goes on. I have seen way too many people hurt based on kpop idols actions, this includes me. Some people just don't understand that some of the things that they do or say, hurts many people, no matter of race or religion. Then some kpop fans take it as some type of joke. They make stupid excuses for the idol, and not knowing their complete intentions for why they did it. They need to be held accountable, don't baby the idol, no matter if they meant it or not people still took offense to it. My culture is not some type of aesthetic to their music video, or photoshoot. Stuff like this makes it hard for me to stan certain kpop groups. And I am not soft, I am speaking my mind, like Namjoon said, "speak yourself".

My opinion: The term "idol" shold not be used and "Kpop Artists" should be used instead. I think it's because they are idolised by so many people that it leads to some fans being delusional and convincing themsleves into seeing them as "people who are there to do what they(fans) want them to do and not as people who just like music and dance(or for whatever reason they joined the company).
@raven-kn6lv

I agree. Nowadays idols are even participating in what other artists do. Like writing music, composing, creating choreographies and stuff. Obviously many things are still managed by the companies, but you can see they are getting more creative freedom when it comes to releasing music just like other artists. Also I think if they got called kpop artists they would be respected more. But then again, I understand why people wouldn't want them being called artists. It's just two very different demographics.

@@95Emink there is a reason why the olympics aren't unisex though. There is a difference on how a woman moves and how a man moves. I agree, there are a lot of talented female dancers but they have to be compared to another female. We can't compare apples with pears just because they are both fruits. And also, yes every idol (female and male) trains the same depending on their company. But Taemin and Kai will practice after hours too, like Eunhyuk and Taeyong. And Victoria, Luna and Hyoyeon too. They are all under SM but not every trianee trains the same way, they have the same equipment but there is in fact a difference that every human has. I think it’s the korean fanbase that needs to normalise idols dating. International fans already don’t have a problem with it bc we are used to seeing celebrities married, having kids and all so nobody out here literally protesting against it. Unpopular opinion: it’s really annoying when groups are called “under appreciated”. In some instances I believe this to be true but there are times when I see comments on MVs of groups such as Seventeen or Monsta X (of course there are others but just to name a few) where they will be called under appreciated. I know they are not as popular as BTS and Blackpink but they are still doing extremely well for themselves. Also with groups that are/ were considered rookies such as ATEEZ and Oneus I’ve seen comments about them under appreciated. I don’t see this to be true. They are/were rookies. They will not blow up on the BTS and Blackpink level overnight. It takes time and patience. Idk I just find it really annoying when I see comments like that. They compare these groups to these astronomically popular groups just because they only have a couple million views over one billion views they call this under appreciated and I’m so sick of it. The word has been thrown around too much and has lost all meaning

I fully agree with what you said about 7 Dream, I thought the rotational thing was actually genius af and as long as they approach it in the right way, Dreamies won't be overworked or underworked (is that a word? lol) I mean as a Haechan biased person myself, I was honestly so concerned for Haechan, I mean I know he's been in dream and 127 since debut (and I know Haechan Mark and Taeyong especially have been overworked basically since debut) but since I've joined the fandom last October, I never got to really experience in real time how much Haechan really does in a short period of time, I mean he literally had 3 comebacks and 2 online concerts in a span of 3 months with barely a break in between. This new Dream system could be such a nice way to promote the 5 members better and let Haechan and Mark BREATHE because honestly Mark probably freaked tf out when he heard he will be back in Dream, until he figured out it's a rotational unit😅 I personally want to see a Chenji unit and Jeno Jaemin Renjun unit, kind of like when they collabed with Yeri on Hair in the air which btw was adorable af and I love that song! On the whole nct dream fixed/rotational unit problem I have my mind on this: Sm wants haechan and mark to focus on nct 127 and i think they always plan on putting renjun and chenle on wayv, but since sm wants money, when they realised that dream is successful than they thought they grabbed the opportunity to make more money for them and make the fans happy for a change. Plus i dont have any idea on what sm plans on jeno,jaemin and jisung maybe they will be in a new unit with new members.

From the beginning, I always thought NCT Dream was a genius concept for a group like NCT because unlike in Japan, where graduation means leaving (most of the time), Dream members would just be part of another unit and younger trainees could be the new generation in Dream, until NCT takes over the world like a global AKB48. Dream is supposed to be almost a fluid as U.

And in the future those new members will be part of a new unit most likely their nationality determined their unit. I would think that the next unit set to debut is nct japan which we will see a new japanese member plus idk if yuta

In my opinion, Seo Taiji and Boys pave the way for KPop. They where the first KPop group ever, and started everything. SHINee and SNSD did hard numbers aswell, really bringing a lot of KPop stans in, and they both have legendary discographies. BTS have done a lot, and I’m not discrediting their hard work, but they didn’t start KPop. Seo Taiji and Boys, SHINee, and SNSD made the path, BTS just made it stronger.

Agree 100%. I think 2 per year is a perfect standard for all groups, be they boy or girl, experienced or rookie, etc. It's enough to make sure the public doesn't forget them but also not too much to the point that they're overworked. And then they can adjust that based on the group's needs, e.g. if they do a lot of extra activities, e.g. acting, variety hosting, etc. they can lessen it to one, if they don't do lot of extra stuff they can increase the amount to 3 per year, if they want to do an overseas comeback that year they can do 1 full album release or 2 minis in Korea and then the overseas cb, if they're having a world tour they can have only 1 cb, etc. 2 is a perfect baseline

I feel like the debut of younger idols making you lose the "relatable" and "enjoyable" factor makes me think about music in general when older gens don't like younger music. Of course it is a natural thing that you feel like age creates a gap but I think that by the time the music is good I don't really care about age, whether they are older or younger than me. Also, loving ourselves as a lot of idols sing about is something they also struggle with. When they sing (from what I listen to at least), they don't impose it to you or are authoritarian. Quite a lot of them have admitted their own personal struggles, and it is meant to be a journey with the fans. However, if you feel like you don't want to listen to it that's your cup of tea. And I have heard that BTS does not like reality TV shows because of quite a lot of negative experiences they have had with the hosts and that is why they prefer having the run BTS and their other shows Finally, Stray kids' newer music are whole BOPS. Side effect got me into the Fandom and I can't get enough of God's menu;just everything is amazing. But again, if you don't like it it's you opinion

Unpopular opinions: THERE ARE NO OVERRATED GROUPS END OF CONVERSATION (do not reply otherwise under this comment, no fanwars in this household) Namjoon is the most attractive BTS member in literally every aspect; looks, personality, intelligence, etc. OnlyOneOf and A.C.E are extremely underrated (OOO especially) Line distributions don't matter (in most cases - looking at you SM @ Winwin). Most of the times, groups always follow a certain formula. Idle, for example, usually goes like this: Soojin and Soyeon sing next to each other or similar verses, Miyeon and Yuqi always sing together, Minnie and Soyeon do a lot of the chorus, Shuhua has her own verse. Positions do not mean you should get more or less lines. The main vocalists, for example, will get the hardest, vocally challenging parts, but not always the most lines. Thank you for coming to my TED talk. Edit: replying to that one Skz song opinion; as a Levanter stan and it being one of my favorite Kpop songs in general, I am offended :(

The age thing only matters when you see the idols as boyfriend or girlfriend material, which is usually what teenage girls relate to BGs as. So as the teen starts to be older than rookies, they stop being able to relate to them as that (especially girls with BGs). Once you mentally switch out of that an and start to appreciate them as people and entertainers (rather than as a romantic fantasy) you can happily stan younger idols.

For me tho nct dream being a fixed unit is great, the whole dreamies when they graduate has nowhere to go. I mean they would just be stucked in the sm dungeon again waiting for an NCT U comeback. They didn't train for years to debut and promote for a short time and go back waiting for a comeback for NCT U solely. And NCT is an experimental group, I would totally understand if they would stray away from their original concept. I mean come on what company promotes a product continously if doesn't really sell that much? It's all about sales and money in the end uwu.
@raerohan4241
4 жыл бұрын
Same, I loved the graduation concept! And since NCT already had a fixed unit, I was a little disappointed. Though when I thought about it some more, from a logistics perspective the concept was a nightmare. In the first place, where would the graduated members go? Would they all go into U? But if they had fit U's concept, they would have been placed there already like Mark was, meaning that non-U Dreamies did not fit its concept. So then SM would have to establish more units with different concepts. And then, to keep adding more members every year/every other year to replace the old members? Does SM even have that many debut-ready trainees under 20? Like, SM for sure has a lot of trainees, but they need to be debut-ready. And SM has a reputation for having artists with amazing training (i.e. they have really well-established basics). Not everyone can meet that standard while still being a minor. Wouldn't SM have run out eventually? Also the problem is not just debuting them, it's also what comes after. Promoting that many new artists, enough to establish a loyal fanbase which will follow them post-graduation and ensure returns on their investments? SM probably has the resources to accomplish it, but even so, it would be a big drain. I think going this route (making Dream a fixed unit) was a smart idea, and as a bonus, most fans actually liked the decision.

i think something that some fans overlook, like the person who commented about how some idols aren't really passionate about music, is that producing/writing music does not necessarily equal being passionate about music. people use this as a metric a lot, and i think it is more that people use it as part of a competition to say "well my fave is better because they are sElF pRoDUceD" and don't take into account that some people are passionate about music but that it may just be specific to singing (or other aspects of music, but in the case of idols, singing applies the most). honestly a lot of comments like this also undervalue the work of producers and writers, because these are specific skills you have to work at to become good at, and you can be really passionate about singing but that doesn't mean you will naturally be talented at writing or producing (or vice versa) and you don't HAVE to be to be passionate about music!! of course some idols don't write or produce their own stuff because they aren't allowed to and of course it is impressive when an idol is multitalented and can juggle singing, rapping, dancing, AND producing, but i think that many fans don't appreciate that producing and writing are completely separate skills from the performance aspect of music, and you can be passionate about one and not the other, and that doesn't diminish your passion for music.

Further, it is not dangerous, and they do not go for war or anything like that lol. As with the popularity issue, Super Junior are still thriving in Korea lmao. about the streaming opinions, *i agree i strongly agree* yeah i do streaming and i love reading/writing comments.. (this is more to my observations on nct’s mvs comment sections) but you know what, reading comments about “PLEASE DON’T STOP STREAMING” or “nctzens are lazy af they can’t even stream” (this one really hurts i wanna- oof calm myself) are just *too much* first, it’s not even motivating for nctzens/any fans to keep on streaming..second, isn’t it rude to pressure and push other fans to sTreAm?! that just makes those fans feel like they aren’t “good fans” .. people need to know that fans are human too, *we have our own life* ,we have schools and works to do. (just saying that i’m fine if there are some good encouraging and motivating comments asking to stream) 💚

I have a quick opinion that will probably get swept away. A lot of people say "Idols have the Internet, they should have known that (cultural appropriation, being insensitive, etc.) Is wrong.". The thing is these idols probably aren't on the English side of the Internet (a.k.a the side where this stuff is more talked about).Many of them can't talk in fluent English, and they aren't taught this stuff in school or by friends since South Korea is such a homogeneous country. We can't expect idols to know everything. Sometimes it isn't even the idol's fault, it's the company's. I'm not saying a person affected by said thing the idol did can't mad or offended, I'm just saying that people saying "they have the internet" can come of as ignorant (especially since a lot of the time people saying this sound like they're assuming all idols are on the English part of the internet) I'm all for calling people out and bettering ones self, and these idols are still human. They aren't gods who can do nothing wrong. And please, for the love of all things holy, don't send the idol's death threats.

right and they act like their idol being to america once or speak english means they should be woke like nah that’s not... how it works you don’t touch american soil and suddenly become educated or know english and become not affected by the obviously homogenized and admittedly sheltered culture in which they’ve literally grown up in. (yes we must hold them accountable, but we have to assume they come from a place of ignorance unless we have reason to believe otherwise like it’s repeated or severe)

I kinda have to agree with this .The thing is , in an Asian country(idk if all Asian country are like this but mine is), if your second language is not English , you will barely know about this stuff . Schools don’t taught us that and we only study about our country’s history and a little about the world (only like WW1 and stuffs) . If i don’t know english and if don’t use twitter and instagram,then i wouldn’t have known about culture appropriation at all because those stuff are normal here in my country because no one taught us that it is wrong . Right after i knew that it was wrong , I immediately educate myself about it but of course a lot of people in my country still wont know about it . So the conclusion is i think we should stop sending hate to idols when they did something they are not aware of ,instead we EDUCATE them .Send them emails , tell them NICELY that their actions are not right . Unless if they did the same mistakes again after being educated then that’s definitely wrong.

No excuse. You don’t need English websites to learn about other cultures. I learn a lot of about Korean through one having been there and mainly just online and I don’t speak a lick of Korean

I have mixed feelings with this opinion, your point may be valid but a lot of people are quite educated about other cultures just through the internet. Tbh half the stuff ive been educated on are through the web. But these idols dont go out of their way to educate themselves on cultural topics and end up making mistakes. Its really important companies take it upon themselves to educate their idols especially if they want to breakthrough the western market and become popular internationally. In this day and age we must respect other peoples cultures! However NOBODY should be sending death threats and horrible messages to idols, it’s disgusting. Rather like you said in your comment we should educate, that way people can learn and grow.

Thank you so much for your comments on stre/aming culture in kpop fanbases, constant stream/ing & voting can be really detrimental to fans' (especially those of us with disabilities) physical & emotional health. Most people aren't willing to talk about how it's not the only way to support idols nor is it something we have to do to be a "good" or "real" stan. So thank you for that :]

That's like weighing patatoes and carrots in the same scale, and paying them all together when the price per kl is different. There a lot of good dancers! I don't stan all of these, but I hava a lot of respect for them: Ten Taemin Lisa Winwin Kai Hoshi Dino J-Hope Jimin Yeonjun is really good to but he's still very young and debuted recently, so let's wait C:

So about the “paved the way” one, yes I agree it gets annoying but don’t forget how everyone did that to us. Twitter use to shame bts for not having a daeseng (I think that’s how it’s spelled) bc their fave has 27, and how “no Grammy invite, no opinion” when I’m fairly sure bts were the first and only kpop group to be invited anyway. This isn’t an excuse, just a reminder. That’s another form of gate keeping tbh. Trashing an idol/group just because they’re new or have less awards/achievements.

I'm literally 13 and there's an idol who is a year younger than me. I don't feel uncomfortable with him because I can't see him as a romantic figure, I feel uncomfortable because it makes me feel oldddd😑and I'm sure there are people who are into younger partners, so really stanning or not stanning an idol because of their age should not be a problem. If you feel like a group of forty year old guys makes you feel uncomfortable, don't Stan. If you feel like a group of twelve year olds isn't your thing simply because they're too young, it's fine

I personally don't stream because I feel I might accidentally ruin the song for me. I only tend to rewatch the MVs if I reallyy enjoyed it or feel like I missed something in it. But for example, although I didn't stream the MV, I used to listen to Dx4 a LOT when it first came out since I was a new blink. And although I don't hate the song or MV, I've seen/heard it so many times that I'm kind of tired of it. Same goes for DNA and BWL, I still love the songs and bop to them, but I grew tired of them and usually find myself listening to their other tracks instead. It's the reason I actively avoid streaming for the most part.

I think the problem with the “BTS paved the way” saying is the ‘paved the way’ part. The wording is misleading and implies that there was no ‘way’ before them. If people say, “BTS are living Kpop Legends” or “BTS did the most for Kpop”, then yes, I can easily agree. But “Paved the Way” is dismissive of previous artists who also worked hard to give room for a group like BTS to get attention.

Yeah other kpop Stans take it the wrong way. When we of at least I say BTS paved the way, I don't meant they made kpop what it is today, I mean they made it way much more mainstream here in the West than any group. Also before BTS got famous kpop Stans didn't care about yt views and billboard charts. They were in their bubble of melon and oricon charts. However after BTS got popular everyone started caring about views and charts on the west. So yeah, it is misleading in a way

Aroa Khan I would say that it was Psy that instigated the culture of online promotions and streaming. Because of his viral act of Gangnam Style, kpop companies saw the opportunity that streaming platforms such as youtube presented. Following Gangname Style was I Got A Boy bu Girls’ Generation, which surpassed him and all other Western artists in making record breaking number of views on KZitem. A feat of its time and that event therefore fully established the significance of streaming in kpop promotions. After a few months, BTS, that time a small group from a small company, saw online platforms as their cheapest and fastest way of promoting outside of music shows. And so, they dropped music videos and reality shows one by one until they established a steady fanbase in the West. If it weren’t for something as outlandish and novel as Gangnam Style, many small company idol groups would be drowned out from the oversaturated Kpop industry in Korea. Like I said, BTS did many things and are still legends in their own right. But acknowledging other idols’ accomplishments will not take away anything from BTS. People really just have to accept the fact that Kpop’s history is soooo much longer than they think. We in Asia lived through Kpop’s struggles. I was dancing as a baby to Answer the Phone back when it was still called Hallyu, not Kpop. And that time, it was a novel song and not taken seriously. But look then came BoA breaking in to the Japanese market (notoriously the strictest market worldwide), and Rain becoming the first well known “hot Korean” figure in Hollywood. It goes sooo much deeper than streams and view and music shows. Kpop was slowing forming in its organic growth.

am as pure as expansive gurl I’m not only talking about 2ng gen. I go back to 1st gen, the OG’s. No one in the West ever got to experience them growing up. But they did the MOST. The actual struggle was spreading across Asia. Unlike the West, Asian markets barely intersect. In the West, American artists are also popular in Europe. Likewise, European artists (like Spice Girls, Adele, Dua lipa) are also famous in America. There is a lot of interactions between continents and countries. We did not have that in Asia. We kept to ourselves. For Jpop and Kpop (in the past, called Hallyu) to reach other countries was unbelievable during that time. Jpop had the advantage of coning from an economically stable country. In the 80s and 90s, Korea wasn’t very financially stable as it is today. So trying to break into other markets, especially Japan, was a feat mightier than when they broke into the West. If you ask me, Westerners were more welcoming to Kpop when it entered their country than Asians were when Kpop entered theirs. And I say this as a full Asian. And the people who contributed to early KZitem view on Kpop music videos were the Asian fans. The high views then skewed the algorithm and therefore made it trend worldwide, which was then noticed by the West. Like I said, whether you like it or not, “paving the way to the west” is not possible without first laying down a path through the East. Even BTS acknowledges the efforts of previous artists for them to become successful worldwide.

I think that saying that the idols won’t feel comfortable with the cute concept is a dumb blanket statement and justification. I think that sometimes people connect the cute concept with aegyo. Which for some idols physically cringe at doing but the cute concept is very different from that. It’s not about having that cutesy tone and gestures but about the natural innocence and joy you radiate. Like Oh My Girl’s Nonstop. I would say that is a cute concept but you don’t cringe from it. You can feel that energy they carry with their emotions and gestures.

Unpopular opinions 1.) iKon's next comeback should be a Hiphop and dance heavy concept. I'm fine with their concept right now but it would be really interesting if they will go with the YG swag concept this time. I want it to be like HYLT but more aggressive and this will make fans shock about the concept change and became more interested. 2.) Stylists does'nt decide everything.I came to the point like I realized not all the time its the stylist's decision but also the idol's like they can't just tell them like "okay you need to bleach your hair next comeback", "you need a new haircut right now" , "wear this in the performance". the idols have rights to decide too. I used to be one of the haters of Wendy and red velvet's zimzalabim outfits but then I realized it was immature for me to blame the stylists cause maybe Wendy chose that outfit cause its funny and fun. Sure there are times its the stylist's decision but not all the time. 3.) Gfriend's "Apple" might be the best girlgroup comeback right now.This is really subjective and its okay to disagree but anyways I did'nt expect them to go with this kind of sexy concept which gives 2nd gen vibes especially the way how they sing the chorus and when you compare other comeback releases right now Apple stood out a lot. Sowon really snapped this comeback this song and concept suits her so well 4.) Don't force someone to dislike something. I find it rude when example there was a fan explaining why they liked HYLT but there are comments like an essay saying why HYLT was such a bad song and telling to dislike it like its so rude. you can't force someone to dislike what you want just respect them with their opinion. 5.) this isn't really an opinion but a prediction. For sure Blackpink's next pre-release will be different cause whats the point of the 2nd release when its the same concept as the 1st one. I think this will be different this time cause you know each of the songs in their albums are different vibe so its sure the 2nd release is different if not then YG your dead.I think it will have "Really" vibes like its jazzy and going for that TEEN CRUSH concept but I also feel like it won't be that much of a bright concept like I have this weird feeling it will have Chung Ha vibes like the concept is similar to STAY TONIGHT, I have this weird feeling too that Teddy will work someone for the release like maybe Black Eyed Pilsueng . Now for the "title track" hmmm I have 2 PREDICTIONS. I predict it will be like a concept similar to NCT 127 "Cherry Bomb" and MONSTA X "Dramarama", I don't know I just have that feeling they will go with that style but more in a girly way and a lot of atttitude on it OR it will be a "futuristic" concept like Superhuman but aggressive.This is just a PREDICTION. Last one, I wish one of the members will go for that light brown pink hair like SEVENTEEN'S JUN in LEFT & RIGHT. That hair color would really fit them. 6.) God's Menu is really Stray kid's best comeback. this is not unpopular but I really agree with you its their best comeback.Its really like a mix of all their songs combined into one. 7.) I prefer HYLT than PWF. I know every single one will really disagree. PWF will always be iconic but there is something with HYLT that I really enjoyed maybe its hip and fast rhythm and also at the part of Jennie and Lisa second chorus in the second verse, if you are listening it with earphones you can hear the instrumental's tempo and beat went fast and hard which was really addictive, Trust me I'm shock that this song is still surviving in my playlist. AIIYL still wins though 8.) in 2019 there was'nt that much girl groups who went with the "girl crush" concept. I don't know if its just me being non observant and dumb but I think there was'nt that much girl groups doing girl crush in 2019 except for BP, Everglow, Twice (Fancy), Loona (So what). Most of the concepts groups done were "teen crush", "elegant", "mature", "dark and serious"( which was'nt really girl crush). I just find it weird when others say everyone is doing girl crush but I don't think there was'nt that much Girl groups who went with that concept. 9.) Seventeen and Pledis are really smart in marketing strategy. I don't know how to explain it but with their new comeback and album they were really clever. They have this strategy that I don't how to explain but it was smart of them. 10.) Having a lot of members in the choreography is not easy. Some says big groups have nice choreo cause of their numbers well yes its true you can use your members as an advantage for nice and pleasing choreos but saying that these groups dances looks hard cause of their numbers and calling their dances easy is not true cause the more members you have it will be difficult cause if someone made a little mistake it would ruin the performance and they have to do it all over again, they need to have a lot of cooperation and really alert with the beats and steps. 11.) Stop treating "GENERIC SONGS" like they are horrible.Yes its not creative cause it has been done before but it does'nt mean its bad and I don't get why its a problem if a song is generic when it can be really good. My examples are SEVENTEEN "Hit" and "Fear" , GFRIEND "Fever", X1 "Flash" and RED VELVET "Umpah Umpah". Like yes they are generic but they are really good. For me like whats wrong with a "generic" song when it can be really good.

22:53 i was streaming like crazy before but now i only stream if i really enjoy the music. when bts came back with "Idol" i kinda forced myself to stream it. to the point that i'll plug my earphones but leave it beside my phone and let the mv play. it's not that i hate the song, it's just not my type. i did stream their comebacks after that and i enjoyed it. i post on social media about streaming but i don't force people to do it. same with voting. yes, we all want them to win and be happy but as she said, it's becoming more about numbers now and not the art that they put out. even the members say that what's important is the fans enjoy their music and get the message. i hope other people in fandom stops dragging people who isn't 'crazy' about streaming. this applies to every fandom out there. let them listen to what they enjoy.
