I would love a video on how you annotate, post-it or highlight your books. Also, happy early birthday!

I love that so many of your reading habits have come full circle! I am constantly trying to be ok will well loved books, because a broken spine and bent pages and writing on the inside just means that a book has been enjoyed. I love the idea of that! I just have such a hard time actually doing it. My books are so precious...but they're just things. I lent out a bunch of books to a friend on her honeymoon and they came back more loved - it was hard. I had to consciously make the decision that it was more important that she read and enjoyed the books than it was for the books to stay in pristine condition. Sigh. It's a constant battle.

YES... we think the same way about this. I have a hard time loaning books, but ultimately, the idea of a friend connecting with a book I loved outweighs any reservations!

Yay for a great NaNo series! 🎉 I didn’t participate this year but I do have a novel in progress that I hope to work on during a NaNo in the future. I have an editor question for your Q&A. When do you think a writer/author should look to hire an editor? Should it be before or after seeking out an agent? Does it depend on the project/person? Also, have you started thinking about your reading/BookTube goals for 2018? ☺️

Happy belated birthday! I haven't yet done this tag. I should add it to my tags to do list...it's a long list! haha. I have changed quite a bit since starting booktube too. Sometimes it's hard to remember what life was like pre-booktube! haha.

I just love your videos. You're so lovely. Happy Birthday! I love to listen to ambiance videos here on yt while reading. Rain and fireplace are my favorite but there is also a playlist of Harry Potter ambiance sounds and they are the best.

I am a rotation genre reader, so I will read a chapter from a sci-fi novel, then a chapter from a fantasy novel, then a chapter from a romance novel (I also have to get magazines and super hero comics in as well). I am trying to stick to placing only one book at a a time on Goodreads though. But I am itching to note them all. As for bookmarks, if I run out of them, I will write the word "bookmark" on the inside title page and note which page I left off at in a running list. I also dot mark the end of the sentence on the page where I left off. I often underline sections that are interesting to me, and of course, I write "Giggle!" in appropriate sections of the novel, mostly the romance ones, I notice.

1. Most embarrassing book you have AND haven’t read? 2. Were you read to when you were young? (I feel like you’ve answered this in a prev. vid) 3. Book character you wouldn’t mind slapping?

I have to finish a chapter otherwise it just annoys me haha. I normally just read one book at a time but I am a mood reader so I think I’ll try and read more books at once and hopefully that helps me with my reading slumps🤔

You’ve talked about editing Christian books. Do you have any recommendation for good Christian fiction? It seems like that genre gets bad publicity and I’m curious what you think of the genre.

What is your best advice for a duel narrated novel (or multiple POVs in general)? Would both narrators be considered the protagonist (if one of them is obviously is not the antagonistic force)?

I'm the same with my husband. Sometimes I want to read so bad but I also want to spend time with my husband as well. Especially in the evening. If he wants to watch a movie whilst I'm reading on the couch he will put headphones on through the tv. It's really good as we are still both cuddling on the couch but doing our own things. 😊xx
