I have an autoimmune disorder, chronic illness, and severe depression bc of it all. I have spent the last few years on my couch completely vacant. I used to do a lot. I have had my poetry and photography published in the past. I wanted to make short films but never did. I lost all desire in life. These videos, the messages, and your reactions have really been helping me. Thank you for doing these.

I’ll just say I have “profound cPTSD” (says my therapist), severe chronic pain, and I’m tired. So very tired of it all. Living, pushing through with “a great big smile”, suffering…it’s a lot. Every day I wake up, I’m gutted to still be here. I’m way past wanting to tap out. This song makes me weep; it makes me feel less alone. Anyway, I hope everyone here is doing ok and hanging in there.💜

Cliff, I absolutely love how real and raw you are on your channel! I was real upset and sending emails to the KZitem contact us thing complaining that they were taking you and your channel down when you were helping so many people!!!! I actually received a response from them last week assuring me that your channel was still up and running lmfao. I usually don't speak about this in public forums because I don't like burdening other people with my issues. But this particular reaction you were talking about big pharma and the doctors and the switching of medications and I am a recovering opiate and heroin addict. I'll be six years clean this June 24th, in the last five and a half years I've been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, major depressive disorder, PTSD, several traumas that I've never dealt with, from childhood upwards, severe social anxiety & panic attacks and moderate agoraphobia. (Our house burned down 13 years ago and we lost all of our pets as well as all of our belongings!!! So I have a certain fear that if I leave my house something may happen. The doctors have had me on a roller coaster of medicines for years now. The worst one was a doctor that had me on 800 mg of Seroquel a day for 5 years 🤬🤬🤬 That caused serious weight gain and fcked my blood sugar up to where now I have to take meds for that too. I was put on heart meds and NEVER TOLD that I had had a heart attack one night when I'd od'd. I found out a year later as I was reading through the medical sheets they'd sent home with me after an overnight hospital stay 😳😳 I was just a useless junkie to them, would be 1 less addict out there they'd have to deal with 🤬🤬🤬🤬 Sorry, I didn't intend to write a book lol. But I HAD to tell you that to say this:. You saved me 2 different times!!! I haven't been able to find a trauma therapist or counselor because of where I live in Ohio.... I desperately need one!! Because I got rid of the drugs but all of the problems that were there.... Are still there!! And my demons bite hard especially in the middle of the night, when I'm up all night because I can't sleep. I now have seizures and can't drive and sometimes I just feel trapped,. There were 2 nights a year ago and a year and a half ago that I was truly close to breaking and losing the fight 😪😪 BOTH TIMES I got a bling notification on my phone about you dropping a new video!!! BOTH TIMES I went in to watch it and you were talking real shit about your struggle with addiction.... And your fight and offering that if anyone needed to talk to reach out to you. I was still carrying guilt and shame around and beating myself up daily so I was too afraid to reach out to you!!! But KNOWING you were out there and willing to help others.... Gave me a lifeline if I got to that place where it's dark in my head again. So I just wanted to let you know.... I'd either be in jail or dead WITHOUT YOU AND YOUR POSITIVITY!!! I OWE YOU my life!!! And also want you to know that if there is ever ANYTHING that I can do for you please do NOT HESITATE to ask!!! Even if you just need to talk to someone who's lived years in the dark with their demons!! I'm ALWAYS available!! Much love to you and your family!!! ❤️❤️❤️

This is such a beautiful song. My son deals with depression and has repeatedly said that he feels “dead inside”. He is 14 and has been saying this since he was 10. Outside of going to school he, pretty much, lives in his room. I try to get him to come join the rest of the family, but he rarely does. It breaks my heart. I just want him to realize it’s ok to feel ok. It’s ok to be happy about something. I worry about him constantly. Thanks for doing this one Cliff. Ren is absolutely amazing. First time hearing Chinchilla. She has an amazing voice as well. ✌🏻

Now i know very little about your son or your situation of course, but as someone whose depression started around 13 years old (i'm 30 now) the best advice i can give is: Try to figure out if your son is "dead inside" cause they just cant connect with themselves due to dysphoria. It took me till 25 to realize i was trans and when i did so incredibly many puzzle pieces in my life clicked together. I'm not quite sure how you would breach this topic with them but maybe just try to go into it with an angle on if they feel different, how they feel about their body. If they wish to look different or be someone else. Alternatively you could also look into signs of ADHD or Autism (i know i'm quite the mental mess and this comment is just in the hope that i can possibly save someone for decades of suffering through questioning) I also suggest looking into getting a therapist for more specialized help. It took me 12 different therapists/psychiatrists/life coaches to find the right one that could help me so dont give up when the first couple of them dont work out. Also, keep talking with them, make sure they know they can tell you anything without any judgement from your side, the one thing that got me through the worst of my depression was knowing that through it all my mom had my back (untill she had a brain tumor that is but that is a whole different story) I can not promise this will help, i can not say it will be easy. All i can say for sure is that there is *something* that is eating at your child, they are carrying some form of burden, without maybe even they themselves realizing it and it is weighing them down to the point of them already starting to get tired of having to carry it through life. I really hope you and your child can get through it. And let me tell you the absolute biggest warning sign to look out for, when they suddenly seem to snap out of it by themselves without any real action from your side to solve any issue and then *appear* to be happy again. When that happened to me i had fully disassociated with myself and my first suicide attempt was half a year later. It will be scary to deal with all this but the fact you made this comment shows you care a great deal and i believe you can be strong enough for your child to help them.

@@RepstarVixenThank you so much for your comment. I do have a good relationship with my son. He does have ASD and he has had many therapists. We (his parents) have done everything in our power to help him. I have reinforced with my son that we support him 100%, but we can’t do the work for him. Actually this school year I have seen huge improvements in him. He’s doing well in school and has made some really good friends. Again, thank you for your comment. It means a lot to me. I’ve heard this song so many times, and it still brings a tear to my eyes. I never went the medication route, but I buried my feelings with a great big smile and bottling up Emotions can be just as deadly as masking them with medication I had to come to realize I don’t have to be the strong person and it’s OK if I break down, I’ve been through a lot and it’s only made me stronger and who I am today and if I can use my pain to help others that is medication to me.

Rens range of topics an his ability make his music emote is unparalleled. chinchilla is dope to but I have a hankering that wildly talented an creative people tend to work with people they see are cut from atleast the same type of fabric lol love your reactions they're one thee most authentic out there. Seems the older I get that's all I want I crave authentic real people Which would explain why NF an Ren are my two favorite artists...
