Thank you, this is the first video I've seen that tackles more of the inner mindset to come out of the lazy girl era. Most videos give good suggestions on habits to pick up, but your video fills the gap between being the "lazy girl" and moving forward to starting the habits you want.

What could be worse in a "lazy girl era" than being give an laundry list of new habits to start?! I can't believe how much junk is being taught online about how to survive a season like this. Thank you for your comment!!

I started getting up at the time I wanted when I put suncatcher window clings on the bedroom and livingroom windows. If I sleep in I miss seeing rainbows all over everything, and I don't want to miss that.

I've always liked Amy's content but she does appear to be knocking it out of the park lately with direct actionable advice.

Great video. Is this something that you could apply when early postpartum/on parental leave or does it all go out the window? I’m in Canada so I have a year leave from work - how can this be applied in that context (given you’re a parent as well)?

I’ve seriously got to stop “not caring”. I’m often short-sighted in my goals and think that dropping the ball often is ok.

I am 1000% sick of people using the phrase "lazy girl era." I know you're trying to be trendy but it sounds incredibly condescending and sexist. I have yet to hear anyone talking to grown men, telling them to exit their lazy boy era. I expect more from a professional, mature woman like yourself.

I couldn't agree more. Which is why I talked about this in the video. The part I didn't leave in the edit was how I didn't understand why there were so many videos showing up about a "lazy girl era". I actually had to look it up and see why it was a trend. Which is what compelled me to make a more realistic approach to this "issue". In my opinion, women are not "lazy girls" at all. They have unrealistic expectations held over them that are absolutely exhorbitant compared to the standards of men. Thank you for your comment. I think this is a very important discussion I'd love to have more of on this channel.

@@AmyTV Thank you so much. I usually watch all your videos, but the title turned me off this one, so I didn't watch it. I appreciate you and the work you're doing.
