OK I don't know what happened at 5:14. There was supposed to be a screenshot of the Sweetwater page for the boom mic stand, and it was there when I watched the video in Final Cut before exporting. 🤷♂

Anyway… here's the link. No I do not get a cut from Sweetwater, I just really like buying gear from them! www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MicStdFBoomL--on-stage-stands-ms7701b-tripod-microphone-stand-black

This is very interesting. As a bedroom player who owns "basic" stuff to play and record, it's reassuring to know how much you can do without having to spend thousands. Great video!

Yes! And if you're not planning to record a bunch of inputs at the same time, you can definitely save some money on a lot of this stuff. For instance, I also own a Focusrite Scarlett Solo (1 XLR input and one 1/4-inch input) that I keep at my desk. It's what I used to record the voiceover on the video, and it's about 1/3 of the price of the 18i8. (Sweetwater also has a lot of great recording bundles worth checking out.)

As someone who basically has a studio interface for the fun of it, this is a really interesting video about production and reproduction, as well as just how networking with local groups is a great way to hone your craft. thank you!
