Its sad that while these sounds are great, they game still lacks huge in immersion. Cars sounds like they all have a bit of slipping clutch when accelerating. Even Forza doesn't have this. And when compared to ACC, the shift sounds are so poor. When playing ACC you feel like you're in the car. The raw sound of the car, debris and curbs are aspects I miss in GT7. Which makes it feel like I'm playing a game instead of a simulator. And I'm not even talking about the physics but that's because they have a different realism level. But I guess that's what GT7 is made for. If they would include these aspects, GT7 would have no competition.

Not an issue just of GT tho, the Quattro in DiRT Rally has this comically horrendous and super fake sounding blow-off valve, and half the cars use the same actual sound just meerely twekeed. @@CrewExpendable2007 lmao what you talking about? Not one time I said anything about Assetto's sound design. Some of you are more eager to be sassy with some "how about you tru this and come back" when no one is talking about those. Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione have incredible sound design, but won't match the start up/idle sound of cars in GT, down to the reason those are direct recordings playing back, not a sound engine actually having to make a sound. "How about" I've been playing some of these games since launch and got a clue what I'm talking about. If you really want to talk good sound design there's no need to go out of Play Station exclusives. Driveclub definetly was and still is one of the most inmersive experiences in a racing videogame. Sound in both Assettos is great (bought Corsa just to fool around with the quattro), but Driveclub was a masterclass. Visceral, believable and good.
