Which surgeries did she have done? Did she have the masseteric nerve transfer and the cross-facial nerve transfer done? And how long had she been experiencing facial paralysis before she received her surgeries?

In 2018 I got Bells Palsey and then about a month later I got a MRSA Staph flesh eating infection which left me hospitalized for 3 months. Noone was interested in the Bells Palsey in fact since Noone would order it my left eye that was frozen open dried out so bad I have little site in it now. My entire left side of face is still paralyzed here in 2023 Dec. And they say it is too late and they were wrong in saying it would pass. I can't even use dentures so I have problems with choking. Is there any hope for me? Being a now 69 yr old woman you can imagine how I live, I miss being able to wear masks without people staring at me. Im a recluse, don't shop, go out enjoy food, can't stand looking in the mirror.

I seem to recall one of the Medical Medium books about healing Bells Palsy. Supposedly it is caused by a viral attack. It is best treated early, but miracles do happen. I've had a great deal of healing by reading his books. You sound like me, ...nothing to lose in trying.
