I read someplace once that, during the production of this cartoon, the cels of "Red" for her song-and-dance routine were stolen right off the camera-stand overnight (given how incredibly-sexy the character is, you can see why.) Fortunately however, the animator saved his original pencils, and it was a relatively-easy matter to re-ink & paint them for shooting. (Presumably the studio placed a guard at the door of the camera room this time...)

I remember these on the Saturday morning cartoons long before cable TV. When they used to do the national anthem and ask. "It's 12 o'clock do you know where your children are?" Then TV used to go off air. To the off air picture or the Indian chief or snow...

Makes you wonder who inspired the creation of Holly Wood and Jessica Rabbit. Thank you Tex Avery.

2:49 is the part that is seen in the movie "The Mask" (1994)! Mrs. Peenman: "Ipkiss, turn off those cartoons!!!" Stanley: "Alright Mrs. PeenMAAAAANNNN!!!"

I know I'm a little young but I grew up on these toons too. Cartoon Network ran a series of Tex Avery cartoons in the early 2000's and they were always my favorite, bar none! They also played a lot of classic Looney Tunes!
