Thank you!!!! Did you do a follow up video connecting the relay? I’m trying to make an auto filling rain butt

I used one of these for a cooling tower down in argentina lol electrode sensors are super expensive over here and I wired one of these two a contactor to pull in a small water pump when water level was too low. Lots of turbulence in the cooling tower due to the fan and splashing of water and so it kind of affects the switch by making contact on and off but once water level stabilizes more or less its pretty good. The contactor coil pulls in around .05 amps @ 220V, well below the rated amperage limit of the switch.

Nice reed switches.. will have to investigate those further! So, did she put the other shoe in to at least make a matching set? :-D

Is it possible to put this on a sump pump, as I don't have enough room for the float switch that came with the sump pump. If YES! Would you know how to then wire it? THANK YOU.

Use this float switch to turn on a relay. There is another video where I accidentally put a load across one of these and blew it up.

Use optical sensors, these mechanical ones can get caught up in unforseen items and then you're fucked 😂 been there and spent two days cleaning the flood damage 😂👌
