Watch the process of removing aluminum transfer with abrasive Scotch-Brite pads after a piston failure in my two-stroke engine. I'll discuss cleanup with muriatic acid as well and why I chose to use abrasive scouring pads instead. The cylinder is measured with a dial bore gauge and that data is analyzed.
