FINALLYYYY!!! thank you so much! quick question, what would i need to do if i have more than one metahuman in the scene? everytime i import the second one in, it takes the skeleton of my first metahuman so would i need to repeat this process and duplicate everything to give it its own animation?

Any idea why after i copy the parts of the body over to the third person, my body parts just fall to the ground and i am just moving around controlling the feet while the body and head of the mesh is just stretching while laying on the ground? ?

When you applied the skeleton compatibility for the metahuman the walk animation that was not retargeted looked so much better than the retargeted one, why is there even a difference in them?

@@TheTrickyify In theory like you said it should looks the same. I suspected that after Retargeting the setting could be changed. Like the length of the animation or the global setting. However, I need time to check that 😇

@@RelaxKiral after playing around with it. seems like retargeting anim scales the metahuman to the mannequin size. because there is change in the scale, the animation look off.

What could be a possible issue with UE5 crashing after retargeting with the RTG_Manneqiin? It worked a for a few times before until I added another batch for retargeting. Everything from mixamo

Do you have any message ? Some cases if you do not update the quixei bridge it will crashed and in some cases you might need to reinstall unreal, or in this case you might wanna test without importimg mixamo animation but just try to retarget from other unreal animation just to isolate the problems. Hope it might helps 😅

I love the tutorial. It answered so many questions. That said.... That converter is loaded with junk that is sneaked in through the launcher. Take his disclaimer about the software seriously. I'm trying to find the source code for this. Or at least find out how to use the converter without having to download their entire launcher. It may not be connected, but I just installed this, and for the first time in years, google sent me an email saying my passwords were compromised. And I have installed nothing on my PC besides this and unreal. And unreal was a while ago.

Hi, I'm glad to learn from your tutorial. However, I found some problems with the model of Mixamo convert. After using some animations on mixamo's website, the animation seemed to have unstable center of gravity and the center of mass tilted backward

Hi there!!! Amazing Video! didnt know that software mixamo converter! Can i use this to convert the animation starter pack to a mixamo character? or do you have any video on the topic? im having trouble using the animations starter pack into a mixamo character :(

Hi there!! Thanks :) In this video, it extracted the mixamo animation and applied to mannequin and metahuman skeleton. For the case of your question it is the other way around, which is from mannequin animation to the mixamo character. Heyy I love your videos, I'm just curious how you would fix the foot IK? To align with ground, and could you possibly do a video on how to make the head bone follow the camera in the anim BP?

Hi there, you need to change the IK Goal on the feet depends on your character to solve that problem. Hope it might helps :)

Hi there! You might not need to. Since the creator of the software mixamo converter was using the old UE4 mannequin convention, so I think it is proper to use UE4 rig as a base and then do the Retargeting for the new UE5 mannequin. cheers
