Coleman listened when consumers complained about their frames being weak and the newer models have a good solid frame. I wish they would listen and go to a newer carb style too. You make it look way to easy, I'd have spilled fuel, torn the gasket, lost the 10mm socket etc haha, great job buddy!!!!

Haha thanks dude. What you don't know is this was the 7th take because the first 6 I either lost my 10mm, tore the gasket, tipped over the bike, spilled gas etc. etc.....lol jk. That's cool they upgraded the frames. I did not know that. You are correct about the carburetors though...how much more can it really cost to put a nicer carb on it. They are all made in China anyways....

If you don’t mind upgrading a crap carburetor you can remove the jet using a small back out. You can then instal a larger jet. Cheap upgrade for a nearly useless carburetor.

Good job Kyle. Carburetor worked well and if you had to it is adjustable also. Dont know way they made the factory carbs unadjustable as they dont always work because every engine is alittle different just because of machining processes. 👍🇺🇸Roger

Nice vid, simple enough. I have a 100 Coleman minibike, actually 2 and I hardly ever get a chance to ride them. Now they both wont stay on, it will in choke but not once in non choke. What would you do to fix this? Is it my gas, I think they still have the original tank of gas in about 2 years they are new bikes. I have added some in but no change really. Do I have a dirty carb? or do you have buy a whole new carb? I even messed with one of the idle screws because it had backed out so much, but now Ive got it set about middle like I think it was? Or could be it be my air and gas mix screw? I cant figure this darn thing out.

Question, i have 2 of the BT/CT200s. the BT bike takes off just fine, but the does not get to full open throttle, the cable is maxed out but the speed and engine you can tell its not. I believe it has the stock carburetor, would a dirty/gonk jet cause it not to be able to reach full open throttle? Got a new spark plug, new clutch, new gas, new air filter. i covered the basics, i think. all the springs are were they are supposed to. TIA

Just have a question, wife just bought a real tree 100cc bike and we've only rode it once. Problem is it's hard to start and once started it continues to shut off after about a minute. Anything I can check or we can do to fix it?
@kbssmallenginerepair2615

I would just replace the carburetor. The carbs on those machines are junk. Look up a HiPA carburetor for a Honda gx series. It'll fire on the first pull.

I'm not sure of your question...are you asking what size, or for what altitude? I'm not sure what they have in it. They don't give an option to replace it for the altitude so maybe that's why I run into issues where I am ~4500'?

@@kbssmallenginerepair2615 hi thanks for the reply! I was curious how it was jetted. I’m at 7,500 ft. My CTU 200ex-v was running really rich stock so I got the stage 1 kit from GPS and it came with a jet marked “95” it so far it seems to be working out. I have another stock EX-V (wife’s) and was thinking of swapping just the carb so I could lean it out using a smaller jet again.
