Nice interview and interesting study regarding music and plants. But, I noticed you weren't sure about its economic impact. Like a lot of research, the economic viability is a crucial aspect of this type of study. And for that to be true, the use of music will be dependent upon the valued added provided by music. This value added can be based on the plant growth increase as a unit of mass per unit of electrical cost to generate music plus capital cost of music source. This difference would result in something like kg/kw. However, this also needs to be converted to dollars to determine economic benefit. An example of this would be an ROI like Market Dollar Net Value of additional Kg produced (i.e., Net Revenue) divided by costs (electrical cost plus capital costs). I think this would be an important aspect of the research. Without this part, you have an interesting result rather than a result that has shown (or not) the impact of your study on economic productivity.

I feel like if plants grew faster through sound, cannabis growers would have aleady figured that out by accident 😅 but who knows 😮 maybe classical music excited the (academic upper class) researchers so much, so that the CO2 in the lab increased. resulting in faster grow rates :)

Too bad you are not putting out as many real science shows. I loved your shows because it had a lot of science to it and had less BS. I miss them
