OK I have one like the first from your showing but I’ve been of what do you call it the update on oxygen here at the house but at night I’m supposed to be wearing the CPAP but a little part broke too wet and I don’t know what pieces that are missing. How would I find out?

We have another one here too, which makes this even MORE confusing. Mine is AirCurve10 S as in SAM!! Can hardly find any videos on it specifically. I’m inquiring because two years ago I was tested, they set up my machine, yet I didn’t really try. Hence, two years later, would love to use it but doctor died, and I have no health insurance. Under therapy, my choices are CPAP OR S, and I have no clue which to use. Sure wish someone would make a video on this specific machine.

Hi Amy, an AirCurve 10 is an ASV BiLevel device device. It's much more expensive than an AirSense 10 machine as it works in a different manor to treat central apneas as well as obstructions. This is a specialist device and normally only for people with a high amount of central or mixed apnea events. The best thing to do would be to see a sleep & respiratory physician with any of the notes or sleep study results that you had done before someone prescribed you with this device. Using an ASV is definitely not the standard way you treat obstructive apnea. There would be a good reason they put you on this device initially.

I can't get the water tank out and neither can my husband. I have arthritis but he doesn't. It's not going to do me any good if I can't put water in it after it runs out. So now I have a very expensive shelf sitter

Jiggle it a bit and it will come out pretty smoothly. Make sure to put some fingers on the top and on the bottom as you jiggle.

could men use the for her algorithm? I think the pressure is constantly waking me up as a male, so maybe female might work better for me?

I'm a man and I'm getting the "for her" version. The algo sounds good and it also has the original algorithm option as well. It's their best machine.

Many men are getting the for her model. Not sure why ResMed thought calling it for her was better as a lot of males can use this machine. I read about a guy who put his own stickers on top of the flowers if that would bother you although when you're sleeping everything is dark.

does this autoset algorithm also works in the airstart? website shows unselected for autoset for aitstart . Also airstart do not have the heater tube right?

Hello. The AirSense10 device comes in an Autoset or a Fixed pressure option called the Elite. Both options have an Auto start function that starts when it detects breathing and they both come with a heated tube as standard when purchased from cpap.com.au

@@CPAPDirect so the cheaper airstart model has no autoset technology, what's difference in performance without that. Also autoset and auto CPAP seems to be doing same things , can u give me link which can explain better.

Under absolutely no circumstances buy a ResMed machine. They are faulty and have ongoing issues. It’s a well documented that the AirSense 10 water chamber leaks because of of a seal problem when the plate heats up - water goes into the device and it stops working. A new one costs up to $100. As well, hoses and masks have a short lifespan too, with the latter costing up to $200. See online for how many people have done their dough on this inferior product.

All talk and no demo. I used my S9 for six years before it failed. Loved the S9. New "improved"is not always better. Guess I'll go back to raising my bed as I will not buy this piece of crap.
