Decals on fuselage should be smaller and behind the wings. Otherwise marvelous.

It looks nice, but I think it would look better/more realistic if the propellors were twisted a little and not kept completely flat.

That looked like a serious challenge, but you came through beautifully. Loved the stop motion ending. A serious question, how do you overcome a broken tab? I’m sure it’s happened before. I assume like any metal they have a limited amount of movement before the metal fractures. I’ve never seen any toy restoration video address this issue. 👍🇦🇺
@morebetterrestorations7987

Thank you very much! You are correct about the tabs. They can and will break. If you catch it before you've done all your body work you can weld a new one on. There's a couple of ways to do it. The tab can be butt welded on or as I prefer when possible attached using a lap joint. That is to say the tab is longer than the original and lays behind the sheet metal of the toy and it attached using a rosette weld. I have some toys with broken tabs. When they get their turn for restoration you will see me fix them. Thanks for watching!

@@morebetterrestorations7987 thanks for the feedback. I’d have to brush up on my welding skills, (only have an Arc Welder), for metal that thin otherwise it would end up looking like Swiss Cheese. 😁

@@shedmanx3640 lol, I have burned through plenty of metal trying to make things better. I should mention too that you could use and adhesive to join the metal at the lap joint as well....no heat to worry about! Thanks again for watching!
