You are hilarious. I love your videos. We should put out more of them. Love everything you'll do. We're steady headed construction company. We had to work at and hit code and we had equipment like yours. Who was always breaking down and he was always fixing it and keep ongoing. Absolutely fabulous, I'm 75 years old now. And learn how to drive trucks. When I was 8 and attracted and named. Learn how to drive sidebomb backhoe bulldozer. You name it, we had it. We had to drive it. We loaded it on and off low boys. We run up down the road on them. We done whatever needed to be done with them. So I know where you coming from, God bless. I love you grandma judy from louisiana

It looks like Ret brought his lunch with him, on his face. He did good driving the truck too. The boys work that pipe fuser like a pro. As for the home made pipe layer, I think it is fantastic, especially for a home spun implement. It puts that pipe in smooth as butter, and it is very nice at closing the trench behind it's self. I think it is quite an accomplishment. Might be worth some refinement, and then building them to order on your merch page. LOL

Interesting what you made we made exactly the same unit to run our poly pipe out. We ripped where we wanted the pipe to go first, then ran the pipe out into the pre ripped line. We also layed the pipe out first not on a roller like you. We layed a few hundred kilometres of pipe with this setup, our unit was behind our D10 dozer. Careful you don't score the pipe going down into the pipe you have at the top, we put a roller here and inside to reduce the friction. Low hydrogen welling rods we use on rail line when we use it for cattle yards and fence box stays, other rods don't work. Good luck from Down under.

I had a Tonka dump truck like that and also a Tonka grader. I got them around 1970. I handed-down the grader to my nephews but the dump truck disappeared, probably buried in the barnyard or out in the woods, waiting for an archeologist - or a lucky kid - to dig it up in the future.

I got the grader and the crane that birthday. The grader got smashed in the driveway along with the crane somehow the dump truck dodged destruction all this time

Good to see the boys are learning to fuse poly pipe .Did my first joint in 1976 on gas mains in Vegas. The largest pipe I fused was 42 inches at a sewer treatment plant here in Vegas. Keep up the good work Interested to see how you push 15 miles of water without pump stations and every little hydraulic pressure without elevation changes

I think Ram Sr. will need 4 or 5 pumping stations for the 15 miles of pipe. LOL!

Ram pumps would do the trick, and air vac's at high points.with today's solar systems even putting in electric pumps is feasible seen a rancher in Delmar Valley use it to fill his storage tanks always full for the stock ,deer, and unwanted mustangs . It will pay off in the long run 5 miles of run, lol

FYI, everywhere you cut and weld a connection you probably should pile a small mound of rocks. They more than likely will be a problem area. If nothing else after you drive a thousand or so feet you can point out we made a connection there.

with that big toy pony of yours, it doesn't take much to find weak spots. your welds look good, I just would have stacked 3-5 good layers of beads.... maybe even preheat the ripper metal to get the welds to bite in good. that dozer to that ripper is equivalent to you using a plastic knife to skin a cow. The biggest I had ran was a d6 building logging roads and pulling offroad trucks and it did the job well. plucking frozen stumps out it would just want to break traction as the stumps would break free. and one week I filled in for a friend on a d11..... had to rethink a lot cause t did not spin nor feel like it was working hard at all

If you want it to pivot then needs to be free to pivot at top. Use pipe couplers with the nuts to get more weld surface, 2 each piece (1 added to each).
