The car is a 1964 Ford Falcon with the wedge style body rather than the rounded & smother body style of the 1963. Jay Leno has a very nice 1963 Falcon Sprint that he obtained, look up Jay's 1963 to compare the body style.

You are correct it is a 64 or maybe a 65 but NOT a 63 which had more rounded fenders. Also disc brakes were not homologated for 63.

This is by far one of the best videos I've watched. Chris and his team have outdone themselves this time. Nostalgia at it's best. From the comfort of my study looking out at deep snow with the constraints of tier 4 I am viewing this as if it was a fiction movie; it has given me a warm feeling, remembering being in a crowd, hearing the growl of the engines and smelling burnt fuel and tyre smoke, I can barely wait to be back there again.

These Chris Harris vids seem to take out a lot of the elite wank ego factor of motors and motor racing. He makes amazing cars and tracks from all over the place accessible to all and with humor chucked in for good measure, you can’t go wrong. If someone else is going to be living my dream, it might as well be Chris. Keep it up team, great vids.

My dad and I went to a fellas house and bought a 64 Falcon Sprint for $15. Not a single panel on the car was the same shade of blue. We worked on her for a couple of days and I drove her for 5 years without a single problem. She was stolen from me and driven to death. The cops found her in the Santa Cruz mountains where she'd been thrashed to the point where the rims looked like flowers from having been driven on after the tires blew. So many good times in that car. I almost cried when she was hauled away for scrap.
