The Jensen CV8 was the design of my grandfather. I'm so exited to see the progress on this to the final finished product. All you talk of regarding the work to be done sound very good. Although I must confess that if it was my car and decision, I'd have it's current engine tuned up a bit and a modern 6 speed manual box. It's all so cool!

Hi Callum. Well that was a packed show ! That CV8 was a '65 ! The bumpers were definitely not original. As a 12 year old l used to valet and wax a MK lll for pocket money (and Rolls Royce , Jag's etc ) Regarding the Camaro . Not the first time l've heard of this type of work . I've had to do similar rectification myself. The Chevette , l personally could 't justify the expense but each to his own ! And "UTAH" THE paintwork is looking terrific, as l always say the preparation is everything . I guess the paint system you use negates uneven pattern when painting the panels separately. Great show as always. Thankyou for sharing . And yes l have seen Jay . Now he is a true enthusiast and has so much knowledge of all things mechanical.

The CV8 was originally meant to have glass headlight covers like the MKI E Type Jag, but Richard Jensen stopped them from being fitted as it reduced the headlight performance too much. Some owners have had them made and the car looks great with them. The bumpers don't do the front end any favours either, but they look very aggressive with them removed. Don't fit a Chevy engine! Got to be Mopar!!!
