Here's the deal. There are 74 CDs here, and the vast majority of them are very good indeed. However, everyone will have their favorite versions of the baroque chesnuts--Bach choral works, the Vivaldi Gloria, Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, and so forth. Corboz is most valuable for his work in earlier music where there's much less competition (plus Monteverdi). Fortunately, there's a great deal of excellent stuff in this set you've probably never heard of, and that's a wonderful thing.
