Hello, I bought this walking pad after watching this review. It’s been 5 months ever since and let me say, this is AWESOME!! Using this treadmill 4-5x a week, This treadmill helped me lose a bunch of weight and stay motivated in energy. It’s a walk-at-home treadmill so what I like to do is walk while watching my favourite movies and shows. I haven’t had any huge technical complications with the treadmill, maybe only small one like once or twice but nothing too bothersome. The only cons I find is the loud sound it makes, can be very irritating to the people around you but I mean I guess a treadmill can’t work without sound eh. Another con is the dust it picks up on a daily so when you unfold the treadmill again you might find a bunch of dust. I’m free to answer any questions !!

NOTE: This product works exactly as described. kzitem.infoUgkxguEIMc_Qwab-3QMTpF6jaRL80hiOOsIN It originally earned a four-star review due to a minor defect (see below). However, the manufacturer's customer service rep (Lita) went above and beyond the call of duty and deserves five stars now. I wish I could give even more!I purchased this item which arrived quickly. Assembly instructions were easy to follow. There was only one problem: One bolt did not screw into the hole properly. I called the company. Their customer service rep (Lita) was terrific! She took all my information and submitted a request to replace the defective part. I'm hoping to finish assembly and start using this treadmill soon. (Fingers crossed...)FOLLOW UP: Lita called back to inform me that the company will send a replacement part AND a technician(canyoutalk) to install it properly. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you!!

How is the smell of the walkingpad? Some time ago I had bought a treadmill from a different manufacturer, which technically was good. However it had a very strong and unpleasant chemical smell. After two weeks of outdoor ventilation there was still no improvement, so I had to return it. The Xiaomi WalkingPad seems very nice, but a bad smell would be a criterion for exclusion.

I returned mine due to the belt dragging to the left, and it could not be calibrated enough to stop doing it. The app does not work very well and does not really allow for the measurement of trips only total distance. Please do not make the same mistake I did and purchase this product.

I did some research when my belt kept moving and I was readjusting each time I used it. I learned that all treadmills experience this movement and often need recalibration, which this treadmill will do for you. It is a moving part and your walking or running gait will cause this "issue" but it is fixable.

@Jill5150

I don't think it would be possible to store it vertically because the motor-end of the device isn't flat on the A1 (while it is on the R1). That said, you're also not supposed to store it on its side but I have occasionally put mine in a closet on its side while I cleaned the floors. If you do that, you just need to make sure to reposition and recalibrate the belt before using it again. I haven't seen any issues from placing it on its side for a short period of time but I don't think it would be good for long-term storage.

@@Jill5150 Thanks a lot for your detailed answer. I was wondering if it had something to do with any fluids of some kind, but maybe it's the tilted side as you mentioned and they just say "forbidden" to legally protect themselves even though it's possible (at least technically). I saw a different review where the guy stored it with the motor facing down and/or the other way around. Interesting..... I don't think I'd store it on the foldable end due to possible damage to the belt. No calories counting?
@Jill5150

Unfortunately not. I use an Apple watch while I'm walking or running and that helps with the calorie count.

On the app itself it counts the calories as you go, and in the app there’s an option to add calories count onto the treadmill screen itself.

I did buy it, actually. The only thing I get from these reviews is a tiny commission if you click my Amazon link and buy something (which I have already disclosed).

LOL, thanks for your comment. I live in FL where 9 months out of the year it’s 95 degrees and 100% humidity so I’ve been plenty happy to use this indoors. But you do you. 👍
