An answer to a few of your questions, they are all very happy and proud of thier dad, he works hard to provide and they love him as this is a constant in american family culture much like yours, the dads eyes turned red becuase he was crying, its common for men to try and hide their face or try not to cry when they are emotional, so his eyes become irritated, also the chair moving was a secret keep watching to find out!
