You show interesting aspects of Rhino that I didn't know about in a concise way. Thanks. One thing I noted while following along...at 4:25, for repositioning using the planar move tool makes it easier to slide the decal around randomly over the surface, rather than switching between x&y moves.

Hi. Unroll a curved surface, paint it in photoshop, then import it again to rhinoceros (using picture command); Is it possible to place a 2d photo to scale on a 3d surface (curved surface)? My English is very bad. I hope I explained properly.

Hmm.. that sounds really interesting. From my understanding, maybe is not possible. This is because picture command on put image on flat rectangular surfaces.

Sir, for UV unwrap a curve surface, and applying an image, you might want to watch this video tutorial >> kzitem.info/news/bejne/zax9yJx9nJl8jaQ

want to ask that how can I let the decal texture bring to front of the model's surface since when I did the decal texture mapping, the outcome is like what my surface's material looks like (too glossy) which means the decal texture is likely behind the surface of the model.

Hi, The decal is neither in front nor behind. It is having the same material properties of the main surface. Unfortunately, I am not able to find an easy way of creating a decal that is of the different material from it. If you are using Keyshot or Vray, this could be more easily created. In keyshot, you can put the image/logo as a Label. The label can then be assigned a material that is different from that of the main surface. Cheers.
