@@06capoeirista I just remember as a young kid walking out of the typical staid Church of Christ Sunday service and hearing the ruckus coming from the Pentecostal church across the street. They didn’t care which church you went to, but you were going to church (or temple, as we had a couple of Jewish boys who got lost in Tennessee somehow. But that’s another story) Anyway, I went on a tour of the local churches with different fellow students. The Assembly of God services were certainly eye opening. I went to everything from a Catholic, Episcopal, Methodist, Baptist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Assembly of God, and took some guys to my Church of Christ. Mostly went to the closest Church of Christ but did go to the Catholic Church some since they had a 8:30am service and we could be done early and have the rest of Sunday to goof off. I will say that the experience actually solidified my concurrence with what I had been taught growing up in the Church of Christ. I guess those Bible study classes worked.

She said the written could have up to 5 truck questions, then told me I could get 5 out of 20 questions wrong and still pass, and I could still take the driving part in my car. So...I could get all 5 truck questions wrong and still get a truck driver's license??? Sign me up. Fortunately, they fixed that in 1992 and Mickey Mouse got me my training and a real CDL. Oh, and with the sugar sand in FL on the shoulder, Soft Shoulder means you're getting stuck up to your axles. Best not to pull off the road there. LOL

I always laugh like hell at those , and the modern passive aggressive transference twist , " drive like your kids live here " .. This raises many many questions , most of which are not going to be well received , let alone answered , by those putting up the signs . They are excellent Ken and Karen early warning devices though .

I feel like Utah might actually be worse than this satire. Not only do most drivers ignore traffic signs, they also run red lights. Like 2-3 cars go after light changes. 🤦♀️ It’s bad. I’ve seen two kids on bikes hit by minivans (moms) who did not stop at red light. Minor injuries but dang, that’s so scary.

Don't forget the Utah turn signal. The one where the driver is on the freeway in the far left lane and cuts across all the other lanes to go off an exit. They don't use their blinker, you just see them looking over their right shoulder in a crazy way.

You missed the Mississippi take on " yield " , which is a dead stop , ESPECIALLY on the interstate on ramp , as well as the Arkansas variation , which is " I yield 3 times , didn't ya hear me ? " . In Nashville , it's just hit the gas and point it where you want the wreck to happen .

I WANT YOUR SHIRT...... so back in '93 we hooked a boat battery to a travel tv from an RV. And watched the news during the 93, they were trapped at the studio on top of red mountain and had to do their own hair and makeup while sleeping at their desks..... by the second day it looked like news from Post Apocalyptia....

They put in a roundabout near my house and ive seen more than five people stop at every 1/4 part of the circle, come to a complete hault in said circle with the blinker on, and then wait for the next person yielded to enter. I do not understand how they havent had an accident there yet. Also "school zone" just means "look for cops and kids before going 80". Like thats not how that works yall.

"Who gets to go first? We'll never know." Too accurate. When the traffic lights go out in Knoxville, only the most suicidal direction ever gets to go, and the people behind them will not stop for anything. The drivers going crosswise are just stuck waiting for the power company to sort it out.

4 way stop signs are an opportunity for clueless drivers to take a moment to admire the other vehicles around the intersection, check their phone, wave others on, check the rear view mirror, and slowly meander through at random notice.

It blows my mind how many ppl in the South use the center lane as their own personal lane to by pass traffic. A couple wks ago when i was going to work a person did it for over a mile bc they didnt want to sit in school traffic before reaching the intersection. Best part there was a State trooper in line and blue lighted them at the intersection. Sweet justice.

To be fair, a lot of those signs on back roads where you *might * get one car an hour, are completely pointless. Personally, I think they exist to facilitate an impressive list of violations reported by the sheriff and insurance companies after some drunk driver has wiped out a quarter mile of some poor farmer's fence... 😂😂😂

Where I grew up was a 5 way intersection. Two stop signs, two yield signs and one no sign. Now if you weren't from that neighborhood, how would you possibly know how to navigate that? For that matter how are you supposed to navigate it? Yield means go ahead because those other guys have to stop, but not if they are on the road with no sign?

1st off that is NOT how laws work, you are ALWAYS innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. If you didn't get caught, it didn't happen. If there is no evidence of a crime, no crime occurred.
@therealsnow

Lol you're explaining how the legal system works, not laws. Breaking the law and being convicted of breaking the law are two different things entirely.
