China has 1.4 billion people and the largest middle class(still growing) with one of the best PPP in the world. That means People have money to save and spend and also China has one of the highest literacy rate in the world and still improving. It is now churning out at least 5 million STEM graduates per year. China is busy feeding itself and keeping its People happy and employed and China with the only continuous running civilization in the world and it knows about war and peace and that's why it pursues a win-win economic partnership with any country. The U>>S>>A , being a young country only about 250 years old, wants to fight to keep its hegemony over the rest of the world after tasting absolute power after WW2.

China's approach to economic development, blending neoliberal and socialist elements, offers a unique model that balances state control with market dynamics. This hybrid strategy has proven effective in driving rapid and sustained growth.

Chinese hegemony ? America is projecting. In all of the Chinese 5 year plans, the clearly stated goal is to improve the standard of living of the Chinese. It hopes to reach a moderately well off level. That is, a percapita income of USD $25,000 per year. It is about half way there. For perspective, the per capita in the US is already more than 3 times of the Chinese goal, as we type.

Understanding the Washington Consensus is crucial for grasping global economic policies. Its principles of fiscal discipline, tax reform, and trade liberalization have shaped many economies, but its effectiveness is often debated. 🌍📈

The Washington Consensus promotes privatization and deregulation as paths to economic growth. While these principles have driven success in some regions, they don't always address the unique challenges faced by diverse economies.

This is so totally disingenuous : The Washington model was NEVER meant to help under-developed countries get rich and industrialised through good fiscal discipline and good practice. “Globalisation” was designed to force open the markets of third world countries in order to plunder their resources at rock bottom prices and to flood their markets with manufactures when the “West” had a monopoly on technology, so those countries would never develop their own industries. The World Bank was set up to push those third world countries into debt, then force them to turn their food production into cash crops for the Western market and to discard their social programs so they could pay ruinous interest to the West, with the threat of withholding further finance if they refused (and “sanctions” that shut them off from Swift, which meant that they would no longer be able to import essentials such as food and medicine - food imports that they now need because they switched to cash crops). Now that they have been outcompeted by China, suddenly, the Collective West no longer believes in open markets and globalization, but are all for trade barriers to protect their markets from better, cheaper, more technologically advanced products. “Hypocrisy” does not begin to describe these policies designed to maintain hegemony, and to keep the third world poor.
