Absolutely love it, more cb gear than ham.... the regency imperial early in the video looked new (would have bought it in a new York minute) I would have just drove my car thru and packed it to the top.... great video

Wish we had ham fest like that here in Utah😎🇺🇸, we have one per year and it’s slim pickings. Even with a couple of radio clubs in the valley. The local tv station has a classified section that’s for free to locals , they have a Ham & CB , section that’s where it’s happening! 😎🇺🇸📡🎙 JohnBoyUtah KJ7TBR

Good afternoon sir I don't mean to keep asking antenna questions especially on a Sunday, but I thought I would ask if you know anyone selling maco m104 or sirio sy27-4 ? By the time I buy all the parts I need I might as well buy one.

I bought my AnyTone at-5555plus at a hamfest the other week. I just heard you on 27.375. I couldn’t believe it. You were faint but could hear you as long as those big stations shut up. I tried calling you but couldn’t make it from Lexington NC. Then a guy from the Yellowstone st. came back to me & said he had a strong copy on both of us. He thought it was amazing I could here you just one state away. Was wondering what part of SC you live in then saw this Rock Hill hamfest.

I heard you on 37, But I didn't hear your numbers. maybe we'll get the contact when it's quieter. BTW, I'm in central SC., Rock hill is over 60 miles north of me. Thanks for watching, 73's

@@MowerJunkieOkay I use 241. I gave up my old sideband November Charlie numbers cause people had a hard time getting it right. You must be near Columbia. That’s some good short skip. My CB handle is Canon. Had that since I got into CB as a 15 year old. Name is Greg. Learn a lot from your videos. Yeah hope we can hook up sometime.

I thought that too lol!! I would have offered him $50 and be afraid he would accept it lol😂. It’s funny how much the ham nerds can’t stand us Cb fellas but when they get a radio like that Galaxy for example, they want an arm and a leg for it and they probably don’t even know if it powers up or not lol. Looks like a good time and some good stuff!

I can’t see spending a few hundred dollars on a 50 year old plus piece of gear, then spending hundreds to get it working again. In the end, you could buy a brand new radio with the same money, and you’d have something with better performance and more features.

It’s fun to restore old gear, the front end of some of these new radios suck, ie , surface mount tech. and Chrystal’s that suck! Any the old stuff is just fun!
