any update on the bike rack? I would love to hear if it was the right purchase for you. I am in the middle on trying to figure out which platform bike rack is the best out there and this one seems promising.

I sold it when I got my Truck, but it's only bc I wanted a tailgate pad. This rack served its purpose 100%, would recommend 100%

@@FOOTLOOSEMARK I completely agree, I have had this bike rack for over a year now and have had no problems with it. I even mounted a heavy e bike along with another bike and there were no issues there. Great rack would recommend to anyone.

After a year, are you still using this rack? How has it held up, any regrets?

I sold it when I got my Truck, but I had absolutely no complaints. It worked perfect and was so convenient

Good video. I have a Swagmann XTC rack on my VW. Since they tend to rust easily if you leave them on the car all the time, I take it off when not using it. I purchased a ratcheting 19mm box wrench to un-thread the locking bolt. I leave it in the car for easy access.

Eager for your follow-up vid as you have me concerned about their welds and overall construction. Also worried about the clearance of the bars from my vehicle. Lastly, the separation between two bikes mounted on the rack seeing how wide the bars are on most new trail/Enduro bikes. Thanks

I sold this rack when I bought my truck, but it lived up to the expectation that I had for the 6 or 8 months I used it

There are other vids out there where the welds have split. Granted they had heavy ebikes on the rack and an extension bar that would amplify the flex/ripple of the rack under load.

I have the Thule T2 Pro XTR (2 Bike) but I live in an apartment in Brooklyn. My Thule is stored in the basement and it’s a nightmare moving that heavy ass rack (50 lbs) up and down steps and through the lobby every time I want to go for a ride. The Rockymount is heaven sent. Half the weight and easy to maneuver. I’ll break out the Thule if my wife ever wants to ride or when we move into a house

I have the Thule version with the 4 bike option. I have had 5 bikes on my car (1 up top). But I do find it useful when carting DH bikes. I can space them out more.
