Роджер Чэпмен убийственный вокалист. Таких как он больше не будет. Он Бог своего стиля. Я его считаю великим вокалистом в ритм'блюзе !!!

We were so very fortunate to see Roger in the Tommy Opera in 1973 at the Rainbow (ex Astoria) where he simply stole the show shame Stevie Simson wasn't with him on the prog

This arrangement takes a lot of the Band's ideas for the song and gives it further balls. Also brings soprano sax back from the ill-repute of Kenny G. Besides the performances, this really is a fine recording.
I take it that this is an acquired taste. Or something.

@@PeterSpaeter96 I have liked Family for decades, and although this version of Chapman is not all that bad, it simply cannot stand up to that of Mr. Dylan, both the 'electric' and the 'acoustic' versions. They are legendary, this version is almost unknown which, I know, is not always a measuring stick for quality. Greetings.

One man's meat is another man's poison. People do songs of other MUSOS for one reason. They love the song. And do it with all respect.ike it or leave it.. Let's not forget Dylan was not what u class as as. A good singer. But he used it well. Yet MANY MANY People have done more versions of Dylan songs that have been monstar hits. With respect attached.

@@alanroberts1948 It's not about the voice of a signer, but the interpretation of the song. This guy is clearly fooling around, not looking to interpret the message of the song. It's like a drunk uncle in a karaoke bar.

The Byrds too? They did quite a few Dylans. I'm sure of one thing: Chapman performed this better than wrecked Dylan could.
