All of the Stones albums are great even Black and Blue… Get Yer Ya Yas Out was their best live one for sure… Oh and the Earth is not a Spinning Space Rock in a Soul Lure System It is an Immovable Plane less earthquakes in a Closed System… You will remember this comment for the rest of your life… Peace

Some day too many years ago, mu sister told me she was to give a Rolling Stones Album as a gift, and asked me to choose one. In those days we were lack of money, so to expend money buying an album was not easy. It took several day to decided wich album between Let It Bleed or Get Your Yehas ...Finally I choosed the best live album I ever listened to.

Mick Taylor was best when there were no horns in the band. The first two years of his role in the band were great. His rythym playing is the best and the licks he throws in too. '69 was the coolest live Rolling Stones sound EVER.

@@christopherhull2576yes sir.that was my first time seeing The Rolling Stones,l had just turned 15.My what a show,It was hot as hell.Mick was suppose to use an Elephant on the stage ,but that did not happen.l actually met Fury Lewis and we became good friends,used to sit with him ,down on Beale St.and watch him play.We even got into some trouble one time,and spent about 30 days with him.What a Legend.You are the first person, to mention this show,l joined you -tube 8 yes ago.this is a new handle.Still live in Memphis,but wow,it has really changed. Agreed. The album that made me realize that they were, at the time, and srill are: " The greatest rock and roll band in the world." I went on to play in tribute bands and still do the middle of "Midnight Rambler ' solo acoustic in a medley with "Before You Accuse Me". 🎉

Stones were ON FIRE here! They were the best band in the world and they knew it, so did the crowd, everybody knew it! Keith had never sounded so much like Keith. Sadly the Beatles had gone to the Happy Hunting Grounds by this time. I saw them in L.A. during this tour. Also sadly, Altamont was in the near future for them.

HOT DAMN one month before 'Let it Bleed' was released. Coming off 'Beggars Banquet' and they know they have another amazing album about to hit the street. 'Let It Bleed' - My #1 album of all time. That said... Brian has only been gone 4 months at this point. And Altamount happened just weeks after these shows were recorded. Ya-Ya's was the second album I ever owned. Got it as a kid with Christmas money just after getting 'Hot Rocks' as a Christmas present. I believe it was Christmas of my eight grade year.

Five guys. No horns. No back up singers or musicians. Just the Rolling Stones. The highpoint of their live playing career! This isn't the version of 'Carol' from the album, though. They made the album from several shows on the tour. This is from one of those included in the deluxe reissue. The one on the album smokes this one.

Their most successful period was from 69 to 74, when MT was in the band! "Keith & Ron are artists"? While Ron is a good guitarist, he is a novice compared to Taylor. You obviously don't know too much about the Stones.
