Hold on buddy,Nepo is still leading the tournament.Anish can win the tournament for sure but I still wouldn't count out Nepo as the obvious favorite currently.
@igorbednarski8048
3 жыл бұрын
The problem is that Nepo drew and won against Giri, which means that if they are tied on point, he wins. There are only three games left. If Nepo draws all of them and Giri wins one and draws two, they will be equal on points, i.e. Nepo wins. So Giri needs to win two more games - unless Nepo wins at least one game, then Giri needs to win all three remaining games. It's not impossible, but you know, there's a reason Nepo is leading the tournament, he's one of the strongest chess players in the world and he seems to be in very good form, he's clearly the most likely to win the tournament.

Just discovered your channel Mr Gotham Chess. Used to watch Agadmator Chess channel which i still love, but i have to say your content is of a much higher quality. You understand chess better so you can explain to us better. Love your content and i am now a loyal subscriber. Keep on the good work brother x

I find myself looking forward to these recaps more and more. Excellent stuff. Edit: Giri played rook B1 to cover the hanging knight.
