Thank you for the tips. Would I charge more for large dogs or usually it cost the same regardless or size ?

That's a good question. If a large dog required more work than I don't see why not. I only pet sit for little dogs.

@@SarahMJordan thanks for the reply. If a owner is going to be out of town for a few days... Do you just get the over night price or so you also add for taking care of them during the day since the owner won't be back for a few days

I already live with three dogs and a cat and we live in a relatively tiny house but the backyard is huge. I already was telling myself I probably shouldn't bring any animals here, unless it was only for a day and I could keep our pets upstairs/in another room. - Do a lot of clients expect you to keep their animal at your house or does it just depend on the person? - Is asking to stay in a person's home an option? - Would it be possible to also offer other services like picking up their home or is that complicating things? I imagine this all just depends on the person but it would still be nice to know what experiences others have had so I can get a better idea of how I want to do things. Also, your bangs are really cute and you gave good info 👍

You have the option of pet sitting at the client's house on Rover. I uploaded a video about Rover FAQs where I explain more if you want to check it out.

Holly, I have a profile funsheet guide on my email list and in my book: Master pet sitting with Rover. I know that writing about yourself can be tough so I adressed this in my book. If you give me your email address I can send you the worksheet.

Hi! I am thinking about doing pet sitting/walking and don't know if i should join rover or start my own business. which is easier when it comes to taxes/insurance/liability? When working with rover do you just need to final independent taxes or do you still need to worry about getting a name and all that?

Rover has their own insurance. I am starting my own business too but starting out with Rover has let me build my client base with MUCH less risk.

Are you able to make a video showing what you do two dogs you are caring for get into a fight? How do you stop the fight? How do you care for the wounds? If it is just A small puncture on each of the dogs how do you approach the owners about it? How with the insurance help you? How do you contact deal with the insurance?

This happened to me. A pitbull vs my favorite regular German Shepherd. Maybe I'll make a video telling that story.
