Marvellous review, and splendiferous philosophical mutter around the countryside! Your videos are becoming a highlight of my mornings, but "Get off to work, you're late" yesterday snapped me right back to reality! 😆That Splendiferous Brown colour looks great! At first I wasn't sure, but during the walk around it reminds me of the colours of an old British Steam engine, wonder how it would look with some lovely brass parts! Is Paddington a contender for the paddock? 🤔 It's like bringing home a stray dog, you can't let the kids name him or you're going to have to keep him! 😂Haven't been to Cambridge since I was a child, but all these videos in the lovely sunny countryside have me craving doing a bit of Bullet wandering over there!

This is the most 'classic' looking variant of the classic 350. Really this chrome and brown shade gives you the 1950s vibes. There are blacked out and modern looking variants of it as well but they don't look quite as charming as this one. I always wanted a classic motorcycle but hated the loud sounds and my god the kind of maintenance those things require. This bike was like a dream come true for me. It sounds so smooth and is so easy to ride.

I have a GT650 Continental, 13 months & 3000 miles later - it's the most fabulous bike I've ever owned, Had over 150 bikes in the past 41 years Traded my CB1000R neo sports café + model for it after a 50 mile test ride, just couldn't believe the connection & feel. Now has Zard silencers & free flow air filter, quite a difference, biggest difference came after replacing tyres with Bridgestone BT46's - amazing ! Got a 350 classic in Bronze as a loan bike while GT got serviced 2 weeks ago, didn't want to take it back, had it for a weekend so just kept riding it, did over 100 miles, incredible relaxing bike to ride, and the comfort - wow ! Another gem of a review. You clearly love the Classic 350. I realise you and Bertie have a lot of shared history, but aside from that, if you had just ridden a Bertie for the first time (or second), which one would you be bringing home? You said early on in this review, 'If you can't handle a Bertie' - not quite sure what you meant by that. Lovely to relax and listen to your enthusiasm - I feel set up for the day now!
@TAYM
2 жыл бұрын
Next video (in a couple of hours) answers most of your points, I think. Handling a Bertie. What I mean is, I think (that’s all I can do without ownership) the 500 is a lot more vibrant, less smooth, agricultural and needs a bit more mechanical care. For some people, letting to engine run a while before heading off is a pain (for example). Some don’t like the vibration. That sort of thing is what I mean.

This American just (with my son and friend) bought three of them! They are amazing fun, and there's nothing that can be said that can change our minds. We've had so much fun on them, and everywhere we go, we get stopped and asked about them. Most folks - including some fellow motorcyclists - think they're vintage! I've been riding over 50 years, and this is the most fun I've had since I was a kid!
