Welcome back to GimoRuns, folks! In this new video, I'm taking you on a my journey as I lace up my running shoes and hit the open road at the Wolverhampton 5mile Turkey Trot. It was an incredible race day, and I couldn't be more excited to share the experience with you.
The Wolverhampton 5mile Turkey Trot, hosted by the Wolves & Bilston running club, proved to be an absolute gem of an event. With a well-maintained open road course and an army of dedicated marshals ensuring our safety, it was the perfect setting for me to chase a new personal best.
And chase it, I did! I set a new 5-mile PB of 37:28, smashing my previous record by 4 minutes and 30 seconds. It's a testament to the power of dedication, training, and sheer determination. 🏃♂️💨
Now, let's break down those mile splits and their corresponding kilometer paces:
Mile 1: 7:11 (4:27 per km)
Mile 2: 7:20 (4:32 per km)
Mile 3: 7:40 (4:47 per km)
Mile 4: 8:12 (5:05 per km)
Mile 5: 7:14 (4:29 per km)
From the exhilarating start to the triumphant finish, each mile of this race brought its own unique challenges and rewards. And hey, those keyboard-integrated keywords from the title - "Personal Best," "Wolverhampton," "5-mile," and "Turkey Trot" - are here to ensure this video ranks high on KZitem's running enthusiasts' radar.
