Run commutes are a great way to get some extra running miles in and avoid sitting in traffic. In today's video we will discuss how easy it is to get started and enjoy your running commutes:
* Commute as light as possible, leave several sets of dry work clothes and running clothes at work ready to make your commutes easy.
* Accept in advance that there will be traffic lights, see these as positive spots to take a short break vs getting frustrated for waiting.
* Make sure you have supplies to clean yourself at work, some baby wipes, deodorant, and a towel work great.
* Set specific days a week that you’re going to run commute. Build it into your training schedule and hold yourself accountable.
* If you live too far to run commute the entire route, there are many alternative ways to make this work.
