Watching this again in 2024 and it seems the message is as pertinent as ever! So much gratitude for all of the inspiring Albertan voices in this video sharing their passion for the land and water and shared values. Great job LLG and all involved ❤

A very well-done film with an important message to wake up, start seeing the landscape as a whole and start managing it that way. I wonder how we can past the silo-competition approach that is happening now and get to a place of cooperation for a common good: healthy headwaters that provide sustainable living conditions for those downstream. Thanks for this documentary; I will be sharing it!

Thanks for this video. I relocated to FL a few yrs ago and have noticed the St. John's River shrinkage. I have no idea about conservation, land usage but I know enough to know we are in danger. This video was helpful.

Excellent science and important information about our water source areas and the habitat destruction that has already occurred from industry & recreation. The message is delivered quietly and extols the beauty of the Eastern Slopes and applies to areas including the Athabasca & Peace River watershed. Many northern streams & rivers almost dry up during the winter but go unnoticed under ice & snow.

It's depressing to think that all the information and advocacy done on behalf of the Eastern Slopes only resulted in a temporary hold. And now we have the same government in the decision-making seat. We can't give up the fight. This film needs to be widely distributed, once again.

Thanks for this inspiring film. It almost seems like we are sleep walking towards a climate Armageddon. Shout out to Kevin from an old CWS friend, now living on Quadra Island. PS We could definitely send you some rain based on our weather here today!

This is an extraordinary problem & the Oldman River watershed should definitely be protected. There should be Indigenous Guardians of that whole watershed area, informed by ecological knowledge.
