Running zones & RPE are explained in the Robot method (It's a South African thing, I don't know why we call traffic light that).
Training Zones:
Red - V02MAx - RPE - 8-9
Orange - Lactate - RPE - 6-7
Green - Endurance - RPE 4-5
Blue - Base - RPE - 2-3
I explain the zones and their functions. The talk test is by far the best and easiest way to determine your training level. I hope this helps to simplify and improve your training strategies so that you can improve as a runner.
