From cave paintings to this, artistic evolution of humanity is mind-bending.

This is how I imagine an omniscience AI would view life. From individual cells to the universe, through the lens of data.

Wouldn't it be nice to know what is going on here? It's visually intriguing and there must be some generating strategy for the beautiful imagery on that wall. Who is the artist and where is he/she from? how are the images produced?

hahahahahahahhahaha Ryoji Ikeda from japan - images in sync with music .....

He lives in Paris, as far as I know. He's lived and worked there for a long time. His music is rooted in electronic minimalism, although that term might not be appropriate. But he, and Alva Noto who has worked with composer/pianist Ryuichi Sakamoto, Richard Cartier and Taylor Dupree took the minimalistic aspects of electronic music, ambient and drone to new directions in the early 2000's and have continued in that trajectory ever since. A big inspiration to many ambient and electronic artists. Ryoji Ikeda's interviews are quite interesting as he speaks on the tying of the human element with the computerized medium, which is essential to his work and is able to creatively articulate some of nature's inner complexities. His visual work in person, I've only heard is a very unique experience to be immersed in.

@@rr7firefly You're more than welcome. It was my pleasure. Ryoji's work was in the beginning just a mere curious interest which gradually evolved into becoming a fan of his work. You would also really enjoy Alva Noto's work with pianist composer Ryuichi Sakamoto (David Byrne, David Sylvian, The Revenant film). Cheers and have a great end of weekend.
