I did not know this live at all. In France, my country, moreover! I do like the studio version of this song. But this live performance is great too. Everything is so classy & elegant. I was under a spell seeing & listening to the 3 female singers & seeing handsome young Sakamoto.

The whistling towards the end as the Okinawans take over the song is something you hear every summer at festivals across the Ryukyu. Love it.

本当にいい曲。坂本龍一の音楽力は際限がありませんね。 ParisとOkinawa。私にとってこの2つの場所は特別な場所でもあります。感慨深い。 本当に愛しています。パリ、オキナワ。 Really good music. The music of Ryuichi Sakamoto does not have an end. Paris and Okinawa. These two places are special places for me. I am deeply impressive. I really love Paris and Okinawa.

Pino is over 7 ft tall wears a 15 shoe. Learned that from the Gary Numan tour when he needed shoes and were hard to find.

I love when the girls go mental.. It's such a Japanese thing, like Asadoya Yunta and all Okinawan/Japanese traditional music.. Such a departure from daily life, it's heartstopping and amazing.
