My first crossing tour out of Michigan!
This is the S. Keyser Ave crossing in Deshler, Ohio. This crossing is on the very busy CSX Willard Subdivision which sees around 50 trains daily. And then you add in the trains that come off the CSX Toledo Subdivision and head west via the SW Wye, and any as needed or re routed trains using the NW Wye.
I definitely wanted to get this crossing toured, with it’s awesome sounding WCH mechanical bell on the south signal, which you’ll hear in my train content from this trip.
I was also able to tour the other two Willard Subdivision crossings in the Deshler downtown area, which will be the next two tour videos. Those have even older equipment! Stay tuned!
Hope you enjoy today’s video!
