Did you just admit to being a necrophiliac?!?!? Holy shit dude why?!?!? I hope you go get some help... that's gonna make you deathly ill or end up in prison or getting lethal injection or something. Being a necrophiliac isn't something you should admit man. It's the most disturbing sexual disorder you can have. You would disrespect a whole family by raping their family member after they were dead?! Thats just so ultimately disturbing and what gets me evem more is the fact that you know you're a necrophiliac wich means you've had sex with a corpse...who was it or was it an animal? Jesus man you definitely disturbed me for the day hhahahahaaa

+UberSchluh I don't get how people breakdown genres these days. ST was not exactly a post hardcore phenom. Afterall the H/C scene was still kicking nationwide well after ST entered the scene in 1981. If people judge based on sound only, well I'd argue they're more accurately post-punk before post-hardcore. In terms of time line, the label likely wouldn't have done as well had they not so well diversified as a reflection of the local (heh) scene. Black Flag was effectively SST's flagship artist. But then so was The Minutemen until dboon died. Post-hardcore to me would be like Husker Du, later MDC etc,. The Minutemen were arguably genre-defying, I think. Back in those days, per-nirvana, these bands were the primordial soup, so to speak. Don't you think? I just remembered SST signed Soundgarden before they went big and signed to A&M. Geez. Now Ginn is a grumpy old fuck who chases people putting punk rock fliers for SST bands on Café Press t-shirts. Rough business indeed.

mywifespoetry If I knew you were Jack Brewer I would have never told you to fuck off. There are a lot of pretentious assholes out there that talk shit as IF they were there. "Surviving You Always" to me is real game changer. That to me is the ultimate. My first album was "Past Lives" on CD. I really thought I would come back to "Pagan Icons" and like it much more than I do. Other ST albums seem like an acquired taste that I acquired pretty easily. I play them for other people and they would usually not get it or appreciate it. Usually I start with the "Past Lives" versions of "A Human Certainty" (my personal favorite) and "Our Discovery". If they can't get into those two there is no hope and their tastes in music cannot be trusted. Can't blame you for wanting to keep anomy just to see what people say. Seems like fun.
