Planted 3 trees in my yard when my boys were wee bits... they are 14 and 11 now... with trees in the backyard to practice on :)

This is exactly what we did at the bow shop I used to work at. We had two poles so we could have customers try out climbing stands and sit in hang-ons. I need this at my house now with all the tinkering I am doing with saddle hunting these days.

I love your content. Funny thing is I was in my yard today climbing a utility pole w my 15 yr old son today. It’s just a support pole/not hot. First instruction for him with lone wolf hand climber. I also have saddle and just got LWCG .5 (LOVE) Tweaking using daisy chain to attach LWCG/Predator platform. PRACTICE IS THE NAME OF THE GAME! Need a system…then need to tweak that system about 100x! (LOVE LOVE LOVE my hand climber-20yr plus….that system is amaze) Good luck this season, keep the vids coming.

I have 9 Stepps & 1 WEI Perch out since March in 10 different hunting areas. I carry a Battlement with me if I need it. My 3D range @ 🏡 I have to climb & do my rappelling with the same rope. But it's in the shade from 10am-4pm. Nice breeze & no mosquitoes during those hours. It's a duo 60 foot maple that I can hang from both sides on. Welcome to the practice with a purpose crowd. 😄 Glad you're getting the daughter out there too.

@@platinumpursuitoutdoors That thing the way they preserve them could last decades. I like the fact that u put the WEI Stepps on there. Gives u muscle memory when it comes to tieing them in a 🌳. One of the spots I climbed to the other day I put a Stepp into just below where I have a little knob coming out of the 🌳. Why didn't I put it up in March? It had one of the pegs that sticks into the bark that was bent. I had it for 2 years & never noticed it but I did buy two 8-packs. As hard as it was to put it into a vice to get it even with the other peg it was impossible to bend it inwards. I was able to get it to stick in the 🌳 with the good peg but the other peg only works if u put the good peg on rounded bark with the other bad side on a flatter spot. But it worked & there's no way I ever did this to it. The rope looked so new like I never used it b4 which I probably didn't. Only resting a foot on it so it's not life threatening. Take care.

I’m on the fence about this saddle. I bow hunt only and I prefer longer ATA bows. 34 or 35 ATA. You make the weak side shots look easy. But a lot of other reviewers say they are a pain in the butt or impossible. I really don’t want to invest 400+ in this system not knowing if a longer ATA bow would be a problem. Maybe you could do a review with a longer bow? I’m not sure how you make the weak side shots look so easy compared to other reviews I’ve heard? Is it just practice? How much time did you put in before it became that natural? Are you affiliated with Jx3 in any way? I live about 1 1/2 hours from the company, I thought about just riding up there to see one in person and possibly try one out. Would that be a possibility? From all the reviews I’ve seen comfort isn’t the problem at all but compound bow hunting could be depending on the person. Also I’m 6 ft 4 , do you think these are a little more comfortable for taller people? What is your height? From the reviews I’ve seen, ( small sample) taller people seem to like it better. Maybe it’s because they can get the tether higher? I’ve asked enough questions for now , lol thanks
@platinumpursuitoutdoors
Жыл бұрын
Hey man! Thanks for stopping in. All of these are great questions. If you only live an hour and a half from the company, I would reach out to John, the owner and see if you could go visit him. He’s a top-notch guy and he would definitely be the guy that would help walk you through any problems. I think with everything the more you practice the better you become. This system requires practice just like any other system. It’s a completely different offering than anything else on the market. Also, I don’t know what other reviews you’re talking about making the weak side shot, but as long as you have a ring of steps, and your tether height is set properly I have not had a problem. You simply rotate and some cases you push off with your feet and navigate the tree just like you would any other saddle. I think the Thing people might be running into is the difference in feel, but the difference in feel has not been a problem for me. You will have to make adjustments and find out where the saddle fits you best and go from there. Are you able to reach out to my channel platinum pursuit Outdoors on Instagram and private message me there? I’d be willing to give you my phone number and field a phone call if you need?

I haven’t. I didn’t have one to try and don’t really see the advantage. You would have to carry and extra strap for the platform so it doesn’t kick out on you when pushing off the side

Man, if you are talking wild edge steps, I used them for 2 years and I’m 270. They worked fine on anything in the southeastern woods including pines.
