Good to see everything went well for you guys. If you get the chance to do a more in depth video about the container loading / unloading (with explanations of what the various processes are etc) it would be great! I realize it’s a bit out of your work spec but anything you’re able to share would be super interesting 😊

Fabulous vid Jeff , great to see some of the naval ships. The USA certainly has some naval fire power unlike the United Kingdom we have 66 compared to your 290 [ approximately] Glad your back sailing with no strikes to affect your sailing schedule. Keep the vids coming Jeff I really enjoy them, take care and stay safe ! Not forgetting Liverpool football club are top of the table ⚽️🇬🇧🇺🇸🍺👍

Well let's hope they get everything reconciled before that so we don't have to have any more strike

1) People need something to do all day. They deserve good-paying jobs. Nobody really wants a society where everyone is idle and living off guaranteed income. 2) Nothing will ever correctly replace human judgment. Don't automate the ports.

Yes it seems like there is a fine line between modernization and improvements and where we actually shoot ourselves in the foot

When the long shore men went on strike they pretty much proved exactly why the ports should be converted to automation. Robots dont go on strike. One robot can work around the clock, all 3 8 hour shifts in a day with no breaks. One robot replaces 3 men or more. Plus the people around the country wont have to worry if the shelves in their stores are empty due to strikes.

Thank you for the input but we also have to be very careful not to completely replace ourselves with automation or there won't be anybody making money which means people can't spend money which will kill the economy

THE STRIKE IN 1977 LASTED 44 DAY'S..HOPE THEY CAN WORK OUT THE AUTOMATION ISSUE OR THEY MIGHT WALK OUT AGAIN ON JANUARY 15TH.. WE ALL WILL SEE THEN WHAT HAPPENS, IN THE MEANTIME IT'S GREAT THAT THE SUPPLY CHAIN IS MOVING AGAIN..

Yes we will hope for the best and I'm glad it is going again now and that gives them time to work out the other details hopefully they come to some resolution
