I just bought this CD at a thrift store. I couldn't remember who it was or what it sounded like. But I had a good idea by the artwork. Dead on. I do remember this song though. There should be a genre associated with mid 90s Canadian bands like this or Pluto, Limblifter etc etc. I never know how to describe it.

Freeway Roll the windows down I wanna feel the sunrays Let it all come down I wanna kiss the tapeline If you'd rather get away Your willing and able To drive yourself away The freeway Summer Leeway from our life I lose it like a paper To blind my heart outside I gotta get your tapeline If you'd rather get away Your willing and able And we drive ourselves away the freeway Freeway Got a picture in my pocket It looks a lot like you And every time that I drop it It looks less and less like you Than we can go now well see now Hey well ya you, you, yeah Freeway The lines are fading fast It feels just like a speedway Swerve around the corner Now sure to hit your target Briring around the corner Riding on the rocket And we'll drive ourselves into A new freeway Freeway

They opened for a band that was really shit but they had a great guitarist and drummer and yeah they did it cause they were friends of the band or they would have said piss off. Cause they could, they wrote some killer songs and had a very tight feel to it. I felt it was like watching U2 or The Sex pistols from the early days lots of power and awesome lyrics. Can't remember exactly their name though sorry. I just remember the woman and the voice she had was inspiring.
