Great job Dad this is how America was built. Teach them young!!

That’s so awesome you said that, because it’s sooooo true! And this links back to what’s destroying America, disrespect for your elders, single parents trying to raise kids. I can guarantee you this, when I grew up, my friends parents, my parents knew exactly where we were, and somehow, they always knew if we were gooding around. How, that’s one of those things on my list, for God to answer when I get to heaven. I don’t think I know one child in a farming family, that doesn’t have good work ethics. By best friends farmed, and many a nights I helped in the field work, and when I went home 11 to 12 o’clock, they were still in the fields. They would literally write papers while doing field work, and not a single one complained, not a one. My cousins, they’d start milking at 4:30 am, the girls would milk, and the boys fed the cows and cattle. And what’s really crazy, they hardly ever got sick. And the boy, seldomly wore shoes, from spring till fall. And Uncle Norbert, could fix anything and everything with cow savle And I’d bet, if someone broke a bone, Uncle Norbert would be applying cow salve. So he passed away about 20 years ago, and I’m sitting, watching TV, and a TV commercial starts. And I’ll be dammed, the TV commercial was all about cow salve, and it was a miracle worker! What it is, I haven’t a clue, and what’s in it, or how it’s made! Not a clue, but I had heard it’ll fix everything!LOL

I can't praise you enough, I really like to see the youngsters doing field work. Keep up the good work, I imagine you get comments that kids are to young to run machinery,It's dangerous, I say younger the better they learn respect for machinery and that transfers into later life as well. Great work!

I wish I had grown up on a farm like that. I was dragging around a salamander heater, frozen extension cords, and a tarp trying to get old beat up tractors running in sub zero weather so I could do chores and those were the easy chores. The rest were done with a shovel in my hand. Anyone who's ever had to shovel out a broken down manure spreader that's frozen solid in the middle of an northern NY winter will know the kind of stuff I'm talking about. If you still want to farm after that then you've got what it takes or you're insane. I kinda wish you guys would adopt me, I'm only 45 lol. These kids are growing up right and will make our world a better place. And lord knows we're going to need them

Watching Andrew in the tractor reminds me of growing up on our orange grove. I learned to drive about 7 years old on an Ford tractor and I had to stand up on the clutch to push it in because I didn't have the leg strength and the seat would not adjust. Those were good times.

Your kids all act well under pressure. Give Sarah some more time and she will do good. Plowing is an art t that takes time to learn how to plow straight. But I think that you and I both would rather see a crooked plowed field than to see them sit at home playing video games . Jr must get upset when someone gets his tractor dirty. He loves that machine which is good because he'll treat it with respect and take good care of it . You really raised them right . Nice video stay safe and farm on my friends !
