Thanks for the well done video. I'm a big fan of Saturn kayaks (have the Ocean Pro 14') for excellent build quality and design. Check boats to go for some good pricing too.

How has it been holding up since you shot this video? Any observation of pros and cons?

Did they change the design? The promotional videos the kayak looks different from yours. There's no mounting board in front and the hole where the pedal goes is closed up a bit.

Yes, I’m the effort to “improve” it, they are continuing to add or change features I believe. We used ours quite a bit when in Florida last winter. I fished some and we kayaked around a lot of Manatee which was really cool. My only complaint with ours is that we are fairly short (5’6” & 5’) so the reach from the seat to the pedals is almost too long but doable. I think that is something they may have changed so the seat can move a bit closer. They have also added a “rail” on the side for attachments like rod and cup holders.

I might add, even if you don’t use the pedals at all, it paddles and tracks really well with the two Skaggs on the bottom.

How thick is the material compare to Intex inflatable kayak?
@kchididdy

Way thicker and stiffer thanks to the drop stitch floor. Intex uses materials that are closer to inner tubes (the ones you use in a lazy river). Intex is more like a toy. There's nothing wrong with a toy as long as the price is right and you enjoy it.

I couldn’t find any info on Saturns website. I wonder why they don’t list it?
